Re: CHAOS ON THE WEST SIDE HIGHWAY: Wild pack of motorcycling madmen chase family in
First, nowhere in the video did I see anyone open a door and try and get in his car and I haven't read any reports to support YOUR claim. This took place on the West Side HWY... in the middle of the day (very busy very public).
Second, what happened "before hand" is critically important and vitally relevant. What happened "before hand" will determine what happens to the driver with regards to using his truck like a loaded weapon and paralyzing a 26 year old man.
He did not do like any sane person would do... he panicked. His wife probably screaming... his baby probably crying... he, no doubt afraid, panicked. That's logic. Not making excuses for the guy, not eliminating his fear but illustrating that "logically" something preceded the initial incident... and it could have enough weight to shift blame.
Dude you need to be logical. The driver stopped his vehicle only to be attacked by some thugs. Would you have stayed there after someone just opened your door with intention of doing harm. I doubt the driver had intentions of running someone over and possibly paralyzing them. He did like any sane person would have done. Get the fuck outta dodge. What may have happen before hand is irrelevant to what happen at that moment.
