Bulls fans assemble

I think that's it for our cap space

We amnesty Boozer before Wednesday

Amnestying Boozer and trading Greg Smith only gives us 11 or so mil

Gasol is getting 7.3, and Mirotic is getting 5.7

Kirk got the exception deal which is 2.7 per year, with a player option for the 2nd year

Min guys are likely going to fill the rest of the roster. A Vet PG will probably be brought in

The numbers should be clear after the Dallas deal is done tomorrow

Rose/Hinrich
Dunleavy/Doug
Butler/Snell
Gasol/Taj/Mirotic
Noah/Randolph/Baristow

I was just looking though the list of current free agents and there's still some decent guys that can help some teams out. Rodney Stuckey is a UFA. He's not a knock down shooter but he'll fit in with the defense. Jemeer Nelson is also a UFA.

Here's the list below.

That white boy invasion pax is on going to come back and bite u niggas right in the ass

Usually does but hopefully not. Still plenty of time until the trade deadline but our FO hasn't made any big moves since acquiring Boozer. Even then it was the wrong move. smh

I think Nelson, Stuckey and Mo Williams will be a lil too expensive for us. Ramon Sessions, too.

I could see us with either Aaron Brooks, Jerryd Bayless, or Toney Douglas.

Then Marshon Brooks for the wing. He's playing for the Kings Summer League team right now but no deal.

Marshon and one of those points, and we'll be good.

I want Marshon on the Mavs fam :hmm:

We already reached our quota.

lol
For now...

If Rose doesnt get that Olympic training in and comes back slow, then i think theyll start making trades sooner rather than later. Hopefully Rose gets picked for the Olympics. The last time he played in the Olympics, he followed it up with a MVP award. Imho....that overseas competition contributed to his MVP season. If he makes it, then that means he was more impressive than players like Kyrie and Lillard (two players he's competing against).

This aint a finished product for the year until a few days after the allstar break.

Depending on how well Nikola turns out.....they may end up trading away Nikola, Taj, Dunlevy Snell (Doug, Snell and Dunlevy all do the same thing, dont need all 3) or Jimmy. That package (minus 1 or 2) could easily get you that second ATHLETIC PLAYER. Imho..thats the plan. See how they develop..then trade.

Im confident.....

Now that this is about over.
Ready for football!
Less than 30 days away.

BULLS!!!!!!!!!!!

I doubt we're making any more trades unless something happens, god forbid.

The Bulls FO got their cap situation exactly how they want it, they're a couple min guys away from having a servicable roster, and they usually don't do mid-season trades (Deng was a unique situation). Plus, I don't think any team is going to take two "aight" shooters to give us one good one.

Love is going to walk, whether he's traded or not, to Cleveland or LA. We shouldn't even buy into it anymore.

We traded up to get McDermott, therefore they believe he's our 2 guard of the future.

We're going to get a vet PG for the min because if McDermott is too green to start, they're going to start Hinrich at the 2.

That's just how the Bulls operate.

I like the Brooks signing

If DJ, Nate and CJ Watson can look good and flourish in our system, I don't see why Aaron Brooks wouldn't either.

Now all we need is Marshon and we good like I said.

He plays agaisnt us in the Summer League quarter finals tonight.

Yeah......
When u think about it, DJ wasnt playing like he did last year prior to coming to the Bulls. CJ as well. The Bulls staff are great at taking guys like this and "transforming them". A lot of these guys arent super talented, but theyre good fill-ins/system players.

Btw....I think our bench will be one of the best in the league.

they may believe doug is our 3 of the future but no way he can play the 2 :smh:, the front office is betting on snell and jimmy's continued development, i think afflalo would have helped us immediately though, no way they start hinrich over butler :smh::puke:

Butler's the starting 3. He plays his best at the 3 and he's the reason why the FO was willing to let Deng go. Once he finds his offensive stroke, he'll be fine.

Snell and McDermott are going to battle for the starting 2 guard role.

Right now, Thibs will probably favor Hinrich or Dunleavy at starting 2.
