Just found out they wil get Love.
Discontinued Wiggins jersey at NBA store....cant be traded till end of month...Wolves saying theyll trade Love at end of month.

But.....I still got the Bulls at #1.

Love, LBJ and Kyrie look SUPER nice on paper. But they will lose a lot of key players. old replacing some of the young; A la Miami, this is basically an experiment until its proven otherwise.

LBJ can play with just about anyone....but Kyrie and Love have never had a LBJ type player on their team...they no longer have to carry the weight. I think both will regress?? Similar to how Bosh ad them them did in Miami.

Just cause you throw a bunch of super stars together..that doesn't mean everything else wil be a piece of cake. I'll take the more experienced team that has chemistry, a proven coach etc etc over a team thats basically in year one of "something new".

jimmy played and started 67 games for us. dunleavy is the 3 he is a legit 6'9, butler played backup sf behind deng before dunleavy, plays the small when we go to a lineup of rose and excuse me :puke: hinrich :puke::puke:, McD is trying to usurp dunleavy for that starting 3 spot that he took over when deng got traded, if we have gotten afflalo not sure what thibs would have done but likely

thibs has always favored a defensive minded sg hinrich in 09-10, ronnie brewer the next 2 years and now butler, that's why he wasn't too fond of rip or marco, but he wouldn't send jimmy to the bench in favor of him at this stage in both their careers
 
not sure what paul will give the wiz but brad beal and john wall have scary potential, they can do it on both ends with their athleticism, cavs are more likely than not getting love which will make them legit as it comes on paper starting 5 wise, don't sleep on the bobcats keeping al and kemba healthy with lance now winning that division even though d wade says he plans to play 75 games at least this year

Love will be fine cause he can play off of Lebron or Kyrie. Kyrie is the one I'm not sure about he's used to dominating the ball which he will no longer do and he doesn't play defense for the most part so I'd like to see how the Cavs defense will be and how Kyrie responds to being off the ball a lot. Also they need Varajao to stay healthy.

I think think all those years in college prepped him well. All the guys that coach and select players for the USA team said Doug looks legit. ROY??? :dunno: He was also playing good in the summer league. SO we'll see.


Bulls find ways to get shooters open....via passing the ball like a hot potato.... one of the main problems was most of the guys werent consistent with their shooting. If Doug can get into the starting line up or carve out enough mins to be productive...I see him having a ROY type season.


The BUlls have a few pieces to play with..if Rose comes back strong....lets just see what happens.

Im excited either way....

I ain't predicting championship but this team is LOADED. Shooters, defense, rebounding.....period.

Bulls looked good. Of course everyone looks good vs the shit knicks..but still.
The Bulls bench outplayed the starters on both teams.
Kinda sick!!!

Our White boys look like nice fits. Especially Gasol.

Imma start posting stats after each game once i get back in town.


Im tyrna go to that Cavs vs Bulls tomorrow. Wanna go soooooooooo bad!!!!
But i cant get away from this occasion that i promised i would be at.

Its early....but Butler has been playing good.
I assume he's about to "showoff" for a BIGGER contract.
He turned down the Bulls first max offer. Im assuming they offered him a deal that you would give a guy who averaged 8ppg 1apg 3rpg in his career. Regardless..I think he's about to have a good year.


Brooks is looking like the dude he was when he was averaging over 16ppg w/ Houston. The Bulls always seem to get that one guy who can come off the bench when Rose is out and put up points. CJ, Nate, Augustin and now Brooks; all good system players. Imho...if Tom wasnt being a ass with his substitutions and kept Brooks on the floors when we were playing the Cavs..then I think we couldve won that game. Brooks came off the bench and gave the Bulls a spark..then he got sent to the bench. :hmm:

Gasol is looking like a major upgrade over Boozer. Mainly on defense. He aint a defensive pro....but at least he tries. His length causes problems (specially when he's paired with Noah) and he also grabs boards & blocks shots. When I look at Gasol w/ the Bulls, then go to the espn website and read about how the Lakers coach wants Boozer to play better defense....all I can do is LMAO!!!


Taj has been playin GREAT! I always wonder what type of player he would be if he was a regular starter.

Our Rookie play limited mins .....but theyve do well when they are on the floor.

Anyways....
Our team is fresh...but we're building chemistry quickly. We have a few defensive liabilities...but we never had 5 defensive players playing at once. Our top ranked defensive is more based off team defense.

But yea...Im exited about this year.

Didnt to see this game...so i cant type much.
But we got another win and are now tied with the Wizards or first in the east.


As you can see from the stats...Gasol and Taj are still KILLING!!!
Double Double machines!!!
Good to know we have a player like Noah to give us points and play defense when Noah is out.

The Bulls seem to be managing Rose mins now ah days.
Which is good.
I just wish they would give our rookies (and also Snell) more mins.
Besides Taj and Kirk..seems like the only time Tom goes to his bench for more mins is when he's forced to do so; when starters are injured,....shit like that. Hope that changes as the season rolls on.

they didnt out rebound us by much..but we didnt have many steals nor blocks.
Plus..we let them get over 100 points.
So i assume we lost because of our defense.

Kirk had a bs stat line. But Brooks has been KILLING!! Both he and Kirk played about the same amount of mins. But I assume Kirk started because he plays better defense. Maybe Tom should switch it up some (let Brooks start) to see what happens. If Kirk aint playing good D...then what good is he? Brooks is more consistent offensively. If you lack on defense...balance with offense.





ANyways....

Wizards and Raptors are the two teams above us for 1st in the East.
But its early....
Things wil balance out soon.


Oh.....we're in the top 8 in scoring in the NBA.
Hope we can keep it up. Last year we we're in the bottom 8.

Didnt see this game...but not shocked that we lost.

We win vs the top team in the East (Raptors) one night...lose the next night vs a team that we should be winning against.


Like i stated, i didnt see the game, but i can look at the box scores of our losses and see what the problem is.

The good news...we're in the top 10 in scoring in the NBA. WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than where we were last year.
Bad news.....we're allowing too many opponent rebounds and our defense is 12th or 13th ranked ..when it should be 1st or 2nd..like its been over the last 3-4 years.

Early struggles on defense are expected considering all the new players that we have. But....its early. Im confident in TOm Tibby getting this team in line before the playoffs. Whenever we get new faces it always a work in progress. But we're usually on the same page sooner than later. We just gotta get them white boys to play defense.


On the brighter side of the fence.....
As of right now.....Butler is officially a 2 way player.
Offense and defense.
Dude is BALLIN!!!!!
If he keeps it up..and carries the momentum into the playoffs. I can see him getting close to max dollars in the off season. If not from the Bulls...then someone else.

Honesty didnt expect us to win this one.
Especially with Gasol and Rose out.
But we won BIG!!!!


I really like the consistency that i see out of the Bulls.
Especially on the offensive side.
Put up 100+ every night is new territory for us.


As usual...Butler is KILLINGG!!!!
Mirotic filled in nicely for Gasol.
I really hope Tom Tibby would give him, DOug and Snell more playing time.

Currently we're 6-0 on the road.
This was game 1 of a long 7 game road trip.
