Arrow on CW

Hold up did Oli give Jack Harkness the fucking ring to be the leader of the league?

yeah man. guy murders your father and girlfriend, fucks up your life for five years, kills over 500 people including your best friend, drugs and makes your sister into a murderer, sets you up to get the stabbed and thrown off a mountain by leader of assassins, which leads to said leader interfering in your life and ruining your reputation which makes your protege have to fake his death, and for his help in stopping everything he started you puts him in a control of a group of ruthless killers who will do large scale terrorist attacks at his whim. Thats some excellent logic there!:smh:

And top it off he drives off into the sunset with his girlfriend. Wtf did I just watch?

First time I've chimed in on this all season and I agree... This season was horrible. I personally think the showrunner has just to much on his plate.

Yeah this season was a disappointment. I didn't have a problem with the actor playing Ra's al Ghul, but the storyline was terrible. I think the problem with this show is that they have no real Rogues Gallery for the arrow. Just about all of the arrow's best villains from the show are from other characters Rogues Gallery. I guess all the best writers went to the Flash, because it has gotten bad compared to last season.

when I think of Ra's al Ghul I think of Batman, hell who is the Arrow's main villain in the comics ? even though Oliver rode off into the sunset with Felicity , isn't he still married to Nyssa ??

The show has too many heroes that do the same thing. Everybody is a fucking archer.

It was better as a trio with the occasional help from Carney. Diggle and Carney's skill sets added variety.

I think the show works better with the ARGUS/Suicide Squad/Deathstroke angle.
The Suicide Squad movie must have changed the direction of the show.

And the Green Arrow has never been apart of the League of Assassins in the comics.

Then they turned him into a bootleg Batman with his 2 Robins, Arsenal and Speedy.

The Asian dude was looking for a out and once the kid died he bounced

After thinking about it..... I don't have a clue what they are going to do next season. Since Oli was shot by the police sniper with his hood off, surely all of the force knows now that Oliver Queen was definitely involved in what happened. So how can he come back to the city? Also since we know that there is a season 4, Felicity or diggle or both will have to die in order to explain the need for him to come back. This season was just horrible. It was all over the map and it started out so well with the canary dying. They should of had her killed by the league instead of Thea. That was just a wasted story.

Man I came in here to say the exact same thing. There were so many missed opportunities. I see Captain Lance getting killed off at some point next season and Laurel leaving the city/show (i'm still unsure on reports of if it's Sara or Laurel being on the spin off series). I see Diggle getting killed off but he's the only regular black cast member so I doubt it. I think Felicity has too large of a fan base to be killed off next season or at the latest she'll last up until the end of the season. Oliver is getting control back of the company at some point so he has resources to relocate the Arrow cave But they backed themselves into a corner since the city knows Oliver is the Arrow.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow: First Image, Synopsis Released, Revealing Hawkgirl, Rip Hunter, White Canary

The CW has released the first look at DC's Legends of Tomorrow, the new series spinning out of Arrow and The Flash and starring Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz and Victor Garber in roles from those shows.

legends-of-tomorrowLaunching at midseason, the show already has some of its work cut out for it -- explaining how a couple of its leads are even alive, and why Victor Garber has no Robbie Amell to make Firestorm with him.

Curiously absent from this image is Franz Drameh, who will play Jay Jackson, apparently a new character, or at least a new civilian identity for an old character. That mystery hero may get his powers during the actual series, which might explain why he's not here for this initial photo. One also must wonder whether he will appear with Ciarra Renee and other members of the Legends of Tomorrow cast on The Flash's season finale next week.

When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?

I guess the trailer answered my question, how Sara came back...

It was obvious she would get revived by use of the lazarus pit. The question is how much is Barry changing when he time travels next week. Will he prevent the actions of Raz causing Oliver revealing he's the Arrow and any other damage to the show that can be undone.

It would be funny,if it did....that would basically means season 3 of Arrow don't exist...:lol::lol:

Oh god Vandal Savage, didn't Team Arrow just beat a bad guy who was hundreds of years old? Now they will fight a villain who is thousands of years old. The next guy will probably be immortal

Erase that shit like it's X-Men 3.

Since Sara's death is being undone. They have to correct Oliver's identity being revealed. I don't mind Roy leaving the show and being replaced with Thea/Speedy. It's just the major plot holes that need fixing.

ARROW SEASON 4 TO BE LIGHTER IN TONE

When Arrow returns for Season 4 in the Fall, it's sounding likely the series will be somewhat different than the darker three seasons that preceded it.

Stephen Amell recently stated the Arrow costume has been retired and hinted at Green Arrow, meaning more than likely a brighter colored costume.

To go along with that possible brighter costume, now showrunner Marc Guggenheim says Arrow Season 4 will be lighter in tone - and we are guessing more "superheroic" with something more in line with The Flash.

"It will take a lighter tone. That’s pretty much the only thing I say without spoiling it," Guggenheim told io9.

Guggenheim continues with mention Season 3 was kicked off by the death of Sara Lance, aka Black Canary, that really set the tone for Season 4, which while they don't regret doing, we do see they undid as Caity Lotz returns as White Canary in the spinoff DC's Legends Of Tomorrow.

"We’ve been working for about a month now in the writers’ room, talking about season 4, and I think that one thing we all collectively understood was season 3 beginning with Sara’s death, because it’s the death of a major character on the show, it set a tone for the remainder of the season," Guggenheim offered. "And I’m not the least bit apologetic for that tone. I happen to like dark and I like the fact that Arrow is a pretty dark show particularly for a network show. That said, every year you want to mix things up and there was sort of a collective desire on all of our parts to try to inject a little bit more lightness into the show, a little bit more humor. It’s not going to radically change. The show’s still going to be the show but in terms of tone we’re coming off a very very hard season for all of our characters. We wanted to try to mix it up a little bit."

Regarding DC's Legends Of Tomorrow, Guggenheim offers it will be even bigger than Arrow and The Flash.

"It’s definitely not just the team show. I think the show is going to be bigger, louder, more ambitious even than Flash and Arrow. I think Flash raised the bar on Arrow in terms of adding superheroes and we’re looking to now have the show raise the bar on Flash so you feel like the shows are getting bigger and bigger. One thing we sort of always tell you is that with Flash we’re really trying to provide a feature film every week. With this show we’re trying to provide a summer blockbuster every week."

Darkseid is immortal.:hmm: ijs:rolleyes:

The "Justice League" doesn't look bad but Firestorm is a fag. They need to stop with his over exaggerations already. I hope they do the Flashpoint paradox and introduce Aquaman. He'll probably be some type of seaworld worker or some bullshit.:D

blowing the Atom up in the finale was an utter and complete waste since the commercial immediately following showed him alive and well.

total bullshit.

and i was already on the bubble with arrow. if they go campy i am really done.

While speaking to io9, series showrunner Marc Guggenheim confirmed Arrow will take a cue from its brother series, The Flash, by infusing season 4 with a bit more light and laughs. But never fear, fans of darkness, Guggenheim promises the show won’t do a complete 180.

Bruh Arrow can't get any worst than it was last season. After the Slade story it's crazy how fast the writing fell off the following season.

I don't read comics so what I know of the Green Arrow is based on the Justice League Unlimited cartoon. I remember he was a witty wise ass character. I wouldn't mind a different take if it's more like the Flash going forward. The main problem is that they have included way to many heroes into the show. Canary, & Diggle should only be in the field only as a last resort. Oliver & Thea are trained assassins. With Thea/Speedy being Arrows side kick it should only be the two of them on most episodes.

Stephen Amell Offers ‘Arrow’ Season 4 Story & Villain Hints

Regarding Plans for season 4:

I don’t know, I have no sense. I had a real good sense outta [season] 1 into 2, and outta 2 into 3; I know nothing about season 4.

I know a little bit about the flashbacks; actually, I know the whole flashback story. But in terms of present day, I don’t know. Roy sacrificed himself (he outed himself as the Arrow), so if I were to recreate the suit and go out, it would undo all of the sacrifice that he made. So the Arrow persona – for better or for worse – it can’t exist anymore.

Fans have of course been waiting for this show and its hero, The Arrow, to make the full transition into a more traditional version of DC Comics’ Green Arrow. With Arrow now having effectively killed the first superhero identity Oliver Queen developed, could Green Arrow (complete with new costume) be in the works as a way to move Oliver away from suspicion? Said Amell:

I mean would that do it? We’ll see [Smiling].

A New Big Bad:

One part of season 3 that mainstream fans may not have picked up on was the revelation of Damian Darhk. In a brief S3 finale sequence, Oliver and team Arrow tried to use Ra’s al Ghul’s nemesis, Darhk, against him. Damian was never seen in person but it seems that character is poised for a bigger role in season 4 – which Stephen Amell confirms – along with some other familiar DC Comics Easter eggs:

Safe to say we’ll hear that name again. H.I.V.E. Damian Dark. Coast City – all that good stuff.

I don't really understand changing the mood of the show, the mood wasn't the problem, hell the majority of fans who watch don't have a problem with it...What made this season lackluster was the writing....

I don't understand how you have two great seasons, especially the second one and then the next season, you have shitty writing...

Changing the tone of the show won't change the fact that the writing needs to be fixed, next season...:smh::smh:
