I havent but NOW is a good time to do it. See, My cousin put me on to this. Reserve as many PS3's and XBOX360s you can RIGHT NOW!!! Put down so and so amount of money Get 5 or More if you can. By the time Christmas comes up, They will all be SOLD OUT in the stores... but LITTLE BILLY wants one. GUESS WHAT? Next stop EBAY. But if you really gotta know. Getting in the VIDEO GAME "GAME" aint really that profitable. BUT selling MODIFIERS are. I know this chick that is Cakeing at a KIOSK at the mall selling MODIFIERS for PS2s and JAPANESE GAMES.. This gives her the EDGE over the EB GAMES and GAME STOP stores. You can also play BURNT GAMES if you have a Modeified PS2.. I think she sells the X BOX ones now.
that sounds risky 4 her. I'm not trying to lretire off selling game consoles and what not. I just wanted to double my money. Now what happens if x-mas time rolls around and there's plenty of xboxs in stores

i tried that a few years ago with no luck. i bought a ps2 around christmas time with two games........
i was mad thirsty too....i even printed up flyers and put them in car windshields outside toys r us....went on ebay and the whole nine.....didnt get shit...i just sold it for what it was worth, didnt really make a profit off of it....
maybe i just targeted the wrong demographic...shouldve went to one of those rich yt neighboorhoods or something.....well im going to try it again with XBOX 360...ill try and get three of them on store credit...and if i dont get any buyers, ill return the shits..

I think that Xbox ps3 thing can be profittable, but you just gotta know how to do it.
I'll give two examples of how I saw this work before on ebay
1) Nextel Phones. Right before the i830 & i860 (happened more with i860) came out I saw people taking preorders on ebay. I'm reading the listings and like wtf? People were paying close to and even sometimes over $1000 to reserve a phone. Not get it early, just to make sure the day they came out it would be shipped to them. You could make money with that. First day the i830 dropped the silver sold out within hours and the bronze by night. Next shipment was probably a week, people wanna be the first to have shit though. You know that. If I was interested in selling the consoles which I'm not I'd reserve a lot of them. Wait till there are no more reserves left in the stores and the release date gets closer. Go on ebay, start the listing at like $0.01 (obviously it's not gonna sell for less than retail) and let the bidders fight for it. I'd make sure to offer express or overnight shipping (at their cost) and specify that consoles will ship on release date. You could even make local flyers for that (ps3 for $0.01) and put those vertical ripoffs with your ebay link. Even if they don't bid they'll look which will give the listing more hits making it look more wanted.
2) Ipod Minis. When they first came out I saw them going for like $600-800. I was really like WTF! that time. Why did they sell for so much? The buyers were taking international orders. It's a fake date, but say they got released in America in july. They weren't available internationally until like sept. I dunno how the release is with game systems. I know the jap units are prob already out, but that could be a possibility too.

I think its funny because i think alot of the people buying xbox's were buying them for the sole purpose of flipping them.
The moral of the story is:
YOU MUST GET THE SYSTEM THE SAME DAY IT COMES OUT. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL CHRISTMAS TIME TO SELL, BECAUSE THAT IS THE TIME EVERYONE IS GOING TO TRY AND SELL IT.

i remember when the 360 first came out and those shits were going for thousands, just for the freaking system, no games or nothing....
when i tried to sell it around christmas time, the highest bid i got was $600...i finally ended up selling it for $700.
but let me tell you guys one thing. RESERVE THE FUCKING PS3'S IMMIDIATELY!!!

Can you reserve them yet? I haven't even seen any stores advertising even reserve sales. But what I want to do is find a distributor and buy them that way if possible. Toys R Us, Best Buy and Circuit City get them from SOMEWHERE...?????? said:
