A company in San Mateo called me in test out their VR DJ software on the Oculus.
It looks good, but once I figured out that they were using me for unpaid QA labor I stopped returning their calls. They even wanted me to buy a $1,500 laptop and a headset out of my own pocket.

You could have mentioned this in the thread. But the app is called Fit XR.
The benefits of this is that it has a one-time payment. There is another app called Supernatural which has a $20 monthly fee. Fit XR you pay once.
It has dance and boxing. It also has HIIT, but I haven't tried that yet.
With Fit XR if you do the box and you start in a room with seven other people. So virtually you can look to your left and to the right and see other people who are doing the same Fitness you are doing at the same time and you are competing with them
Slight downside for the competitor in you.
Sometimes the hit doesn't register. So the bubble is coming and you hit it or at least believe you clipped it and your streak will end. The only problem is when you're competing against other people and you're trying to win and that's your extra incentive you get a little pissed off at that but it's not that big. I just wanted to mention it
The orbs or balloons come at you if they have a light coming from the bottom then you give it an uppercut if the light is coming from the right or the left then you give it a right or left hook. If the light is directly in the middle then you jab
There is also a bar that flies at you that you have to step to the side or duck underneath so it gives it the essence of squats as well
You will face issues of sweating. I bought two attachments. One is a rubber thing that can be wiped off easily when you sweat. The second thing makes it easy to adjust to different people's heads
For example, if you're doing this with your kids and your wife everyone has a different shaped head and the strap that comes with it it's difficult to adjust to different people's heads and you'll end up getting frustrated at your kids or your wife when they want to use it to because you have to resize it to their head and then resize it to yours
I liked fit EX are better than I did the Creed game. So I prefer Fit x r. You can try the Creed demo if you choose. Since I posted all of this I'm going to post this in the thread.
Another app that I got was Racket NX. It's racquetball. There's an entire Dome that you are enclosed in and playing racquetball inside. It's pretty fun and also pretty difficult and Visually is dope
I purchased both of those for I think about 25 bucks each
I also download it the app super hot VR. It's basically like a mission impossible trainer. It's pretty fun and difficult at the same time. I purchased the full app on that one after playing the demo
Sports Scramble. It's fun, you can play the free demo don't bother buying the game because the game isn't much more than the demo according to other people

I definitely like using VR. I have an Oculus Go from 2019 but the limitations make it almost useless. You gotta spend damn near a $1000 to appreciate what they can really do. My Go only has only 32 gig and no expansion slot. The wireless buffers from a lot of online apps, the sound isn't immersive and the battery life sucks. Are you guys having the same issues with your devices? Maybe I just bought the wrong shit!

The only two things I bought for my Oculus were the additions I mentioned in the post above. One just makes it fit your head better and the other just makes it easier not to soak up sweat

Yeah, an hour long 8k video can easily be 25 gigs.
For that you can use Skybox or Virtual desktop and stream them over your wifi to your headset from a computer. That way you can have access to your whole collection no matter how large it gets.

It's hard to beat the Oculus 2. Unfortunately unless you had the Oculus 1, you will need face book. I will probably move on from the platform when 3 drops in a few years because FB punk ass are really pushing hard to get you to sign up. Fuck that.
So my Oculus Go doesn't need facebook to run. Are there any addons I can use to get more out of my old device? That Skybox sounds promising. I bet it won't even run on mine.
Nah fam. Your shit is very obsolete. Although I think Skybox will work, the battery life may not let you watch a full movie. The Oculus go is not real VR because of the degrees of freedom limitations.
