Anyone Fucking with VR?

Just sold my quest 2 (I had the DAS, VR Cover and Link cable). About to cop the HP Reverb 2. The Q2 was as nice device and a huge step up from thew Q1, but I find I prefer being tethered to my gaming PC rather than being mobile. Most of the games I love to play are PCVR games anyway. I've been an Oculus Fanboy since the DK2 (Which I still have), but HP (other than controllers) is what I'm looking for in my headset. I sold my Vive when it first came out to cop the CV1, which I loved. Then I got the Rift 2, sold that and got the Q1, then Q2. I've never had a XR device, so the HP will be my first. For those that want to download VR games (Quest, PCVR, etc) here you go

It's legit. Sign up and enjoy. I usually download something to try it out and if I like it, I buy it. VR is one of those industries that if you're into it, you should $upport it.

Facebook is fucking up again. They are forbidding the use of Shadow PC for PCVR streaming. I hope Vive's next headset is a stand alone and can give FACEBOOK some real competition. If it is I am done with those greedy bastards.

What games have you all purchased? I just copped this game Racket NX and I highly recommend it. I was about to buy beat Saber, but I read the reviews of this and it was $10 cheaper than beat saber so I went ahead and bought this

They have a 25% sale going and I am trying to find a new game/app

Beat saber should have a free trial version to test out.

Most of the apps I have aren't games, but wander and FitXR are two apps that I'd recommend. Wander is basically google maps in VR, and FitXR is a great way to get exercise while at home.

I will look at FitXR tomorrow (well...later today).

I have the demo of beat saber and I think I'll just keep the demo. That Racket XR is like a whole game of racket ball, losing track of the ball and everything. Just got some good exercise in

Any more suggestions let me know

Thrill of the Fight is the best boxing game and gives a decent workout...its cheap too...Creed has better graphics but is more of an arcade type game whereas TOTF is more like a boxing simulation

Thank u kind Sir, for u are a gentleman and a scholar. Does that cover Oculus Quest 2 as well as Steam/PCVR?

yo Q so what is the best to buy?
I'm not into the gaming stuff, I'm an old IT head, but bought the Valve Index system for my son. I set it all up with it hanging the headset from the ceiling and all. Dual 32" monitors. Has a 3070 card. Was trying to get the 3080Ti but couldn't last week. But still looking...

The Quest 2 is a good deal for the money. I just bought plank and bought a real board and scanned it into the system. It's a real mind fuck. My wife thought she was really falling 500 stories.
:lol:I'm taking my Quest to my family reunion and definitely putting Richie's Plank on there lol
