► OFFICIAL UFC 178 - Sat. September 27th - Las Vegas - definition of a DOPE CARD

Enjoying the Cerrone-Alvarez match-up. Good flurries of punches from Eddie ... but Donald's been working those knees to the body and leg kicks, per usual. Fun watch.

good comeback by cowboy
he stuck to his strength
which is mauy thai striking

i got him winning this fight
29-28

he probably should ve kept it standing
to get the tko

Always fun to watch Cerrone. Tough bastard. Walks people down like a stone-cold killer and tenderizes their torso with knees, and chops them down with leg kicks. Love that muay thai and kickboxing. Been a huge fan of Alvarez for years, and it'll be fun to see how he performs in the UFC in the years ahead.

jesus, those leg kicks broke him down

I've gotten my pops into MMA here and there over the years. He'll often cringe in fights that are heavy on the leg kicks. "How the fuck are those guys not breaking their toes and feet more regularly? I guess it's all the training. Toughens everything up. Shit" = his take

DJ got some serious leverage on that arm when he stepped over his body. Dude is a beast.

Mighty Mouse is putting in his case
for being the best pound for pound fighter in the world

Amazing all-around skill set
Each fight he just gets better and better

that replay of CRUZ.

These poor little asian fellas just get the shit kicked out of em.

So much for traditional martial arts lol

What exactly happened in that Romero vs Kennedy fight? CACs are losing their minds over that fight. There is a video of Kennedy cussing Yoel out backstage. The gist seems like he got off the stool late then proceeded to knock Kennedy out. I can see if he took a long time off the stool then eeked out a decision, but come on...how can you argue a knock out?

I didn't like that he was allowed to recover. He was still out when the bell rung. Not cool

Him and his team milked it. Kennedy had Romero stunned at the end of the 2nd round. Basically had him knocked out on his feet and Yoel was out of sorts as he made his way back to the corner. The corner took their time getting out of the Octagon as the 3rd round was about to commence, and let him sitting there on the stool to recover even further and then eventually get off of it to commence the round. Heard something post-event from Rogan ... something about an extra 29 seconds was milked on top of the 1 min' between rounds. Kennedy walked to the center of the Octagon and waved an arm or two like WTF? Crowd was booing Romero and his team with the win in the 3rd, and in the interview with Rogan.

If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin' ... I suppose.
