Rose Namajunas has a legitimate chance of beating Joanna since Shevchenko (who defeated Joanna 3x in the non-MMA past) is on her team

It's "possible" but unlikely just like this fight

Rose can't fuck W her at all striking, and remember Rose got beat the fuck up against the other polish girl who Joanna beat the fuck up.


Only chance rose has is that she's training with Shevchenko, who beat JJ in Muai Thai


Obviously she won't beat her doing the same things but there's a slight chance she can somehow get it to the ground, and that's where she has a chance.


Otherwise she will look like Joannas first 2 opponents in the division. Shea kinda at their level imo.

Shevchenko fights at 135, that may have had something to do with it. I like Rose and she has beat down two people that the UFC were trying to make stars because they are pretty..but I think at this point JJ is deep water that Rose is not ready to swim in.

All he needs now is a win over Cain and maybe a young fighter like the Beast or Francis and he will be in the goat discussion. HW is funny, because basically all they do is trade knock outs..if you look at the top 12, they are all within 1 degree of separation with knocking each other out.

Yeah should be interesting to see how it all plays out. Wish Cain weren't so injury-plagued in recent years. It has severely hampered his continuity and activity level.

As for Ngannou - looking forward to when he's atop the division too. He always brings it ... is younger in years and in his career, and also just relocated to Vegas for better training, etc.

All within 10 mins work, and already had it shutting in the first 5. Very impressive ground and pound and not allowing Yair to stand with him and launch spinning kicks, etc. Shoutout to Frankie showing love to his teammate Nick Catone who lost his young son earlier this week while on the mic post-fight. Said he wanted to cut a post fight promo, but family is more important and wanted to get home to hug his own kids.
