I think this is a great idea, particularly for our older brethren on the site (or those who are more isolated due to their work, location, personal circumstances etc). BGOL is a very special spot for sure, it's the only site I keep coming back to.

No. I get random emails for all kinds of other Shakas too. One's even Puerto Rican.
On some platforms Shaka38 was already taken so I'd have to modify it and when I got back on BGOL, I couldn't remember my password and just started over as Shaka54.
Back in the 90s when I was heavily into African Studies, there was an artist who would paint you in the guise of a prominent African figure. I chose Shaka Zulu and that's how I came up with my monikers since then.
