When this thread came up the first time I found his info and did a search. There were no obits and no RIP messages on his timeline, but with covid I figured he could be in a hospital or had some other illness or injury. This week tho someone said he was active on OF and someone else also said they didn't find any obits, so I figure he is just taking a break. Hopefully he found a new woman and is happy somewhere.

At first I thought maybe he could be just sick
Maybe recovering from an illness in the hospital or something

But as more time went by, I thought to myself
Damn its been like 8 months & still nothing

You know how y'all get when a new woman gets your attention. I'm not saying he has a new love, but after the way he spoke of his late wife, I've been hoping he could heal and move forward with someone. Shaka is a nice guy.

Over the years he mentioned his children - who are grown, as he he's in his 50s (Shaka). If I remember correctly he mentioned having a son or two, and possibly daughter(s). Just wish one or both sons knew about or were active on BGOL too. They'd have seen this thread in 2022-2023 and replied for him, or relayed the link to him.

That's what has concerned me the whole time.

Shaka ... the fam' misses you all the same. BGOL streets stay cold, but not when it comes to the health and well-being of our peers as we all get older.
