49ers

leveraging
and if they let him go or don't pay him then there's no reason to support the team

really simple

Seems like Deebo is doing the same thing Kyler Murray did
I guess contract negotiations aren't going too well
I'm assuming he & the 49ers are still far apart in price

Trent Baalke (yeah that Trent Baalke), now the GM of the Jaguars, screwed up the market
That fool gave Christian Kirk a ton of money, for being just an average WR
And now every top WR going forward is like "fuck that pay me"
Tyreek wanted a boatload of money for his new contract too
And thats why the Chiefs had to trade him

I guess we will see what happens with both Deebo & Bosa :dunno:

I think he's just trolling. Every time he posts something he sees how people freak out on his timeline. He even tells them to chill, but they don't.

Lynch stated back in the Super Bowl he and Bosa are planned for the future. The 49ers have $60 mil in cap space next season. I'm sure they have spoken. The delay in working the new deal is because a certain QB's salary is still on the books so they cant charge anything this season.

Everyone freaks out when a player enters the last year of his contract. It's not the end of the earth if he doesn't get a new deal immediately. People need to have patience.

need to pay both while the QB is on a rookie deal this is how you win

I'm starting to wonder if this might be another Deforest Buckner/Javon Kinlaw type situation, where they think they can trade Debo for a premium pick and get a comparable replacement in the draft.

I raise this question to the crew.

What if they traded Deebo for a 1st round pick and drafted Christian Watson. How would you feel?

The easy answer to me is to pay your blue chip talent. Getting rid of proven talent for the unknown is risky. I'm sure everyone thought that Kinlaw would be a replacement for Buckner but that hasn't happened just yet. Deebo Samuels don't grow on trees.

Yeah I'm with Bumpee on this one
Deebo is a straight DAWG...Alpha Male
It's going to take more than just one 1st rounder for me to consider trading him
We haven't drafted a WR like him since T.O.
So tell me how long was that drought
Crabtree was good, but he wasn't dynamic like T.O. or Deebo

So let's play this out
What if we trade Deebo?
Welp guess what, Brandon Ayuck is also up for a new contract after this year
He's been practicing with Trey this entire off season
So what happens if/when Ayuck has a monster season?
Now what? Trade him too?

And as far as the Draft goes
The main problem is Shannahan's playback is so hard to learn
It's too much sh*t to memorize for a rookie
Any WR that we draft will probably not have the same production as a Ja'Marr Chase, or a Justin Jefferson
We might get 800 yards out of the rookie, even if we draft Christian Watson

1) Trading Deebo for just a 1st rounder??? Hellz No
2) Trading Deebo for two 1st rounders??? Humm let me get back to you on that
3) Trading Deebo for three 1st rounders??? Bruh we luv ya, but it is what it is...take care fam :dunno:

Excellent points @Bumpee & @CurtDawg. I would not trade him. He & Aiyuk gives us a duo we haven't had since Rice & Taylor.

Still tons of time to go. It's still 4 months to go until training camp. I'm sure a deal will get done before then but there is still plenty of time.

Once thing no one has considered though... What if Deebo wants to play elsewhere? We know he and Mike McDaniels are homies. What if McDaniels has sold him on the Miami weather and no state taxes. Deebo might be wanting to hit free agency so he can do his thing. We just saw DeVante Adams go where he wanted, so its not unprecedented.

But remember, Miami already traded with the Chiefs, for Tyreek Hill
Worst case scenario, maybe Robert Salah would be interested in overpaying us for Deebo
The Jets should have the money & the picks
And Deebo would help Zach Wilson not look like such a bust ;)

@largebillsonlyplease @blackman80 @AwwSchitt
@Bumpee @Soul On Ice @Mack1052 @Dr. Truth

The 49ers probably want to backload Deebo's contract
Deebo probably wants it more frontloaded, so he gets paid now
But the 49ers have "a certain someone" still on the roster.....
Who they cant trade, taking up $27 million dollars
Pay attention when they talk about the 49ers salary cap

THIS!!! Just like Miami did to Hill. It's Hill's last year of his deal that gives him a high annual average. It's what teams did for years to players, to make them feel as they were getting paid max dollars. As we all know the player never sees the end of the deal so he never gets that money.

See, I knew that Jimmy G contract was in the way to pay Deebo....This is the fucking 49ers fault..They should have traded Jimmy G punk ass last season when we got Trey and they wouldn't have this problem for not payin Deebo...:smh:

It's time to get Lynch and Shanahan the fuck outta there!!...

This is probably more to do with Shanahan than Lynch.

Remember, at the end of the season Shanny was just running Deebo into the ground. Deebo said himself, he's a WR and doesn't want to run the ball but they ask him to do it.

The prior 2 season we would use Deebo occasionally on jet-sweeps and reverses for a run. At the end of last year he was straight up behind the QB and just handed the ball. No to mentioned Kyle had him returning kicks to.

If he doesn't want his career shortened he should look to go elsewhere.

I agree with you!!..I didn't like how Shanahan use Deebo in the backfield alot and we have good RB's on the roster that can run the ball pretty good...

Remember the first 2 plays of the NFC Championship game, it was simply - turn around and hand the ball to Deebo. :smh:

They changed Deebo into a RB
He did it (in a pinch) to help out the team
Because his noodle arm QB doesn't throw 20+ yards downfield
And now they want to low ball him when it's time for him to get paid
If they trade Deebo before they trade Garoppolo.....
Shannahan & Lynch need thier asses fired immediately
