Just like Kendrick Bourne was my dude too
But unfortunately we just couldn't keep them
They drafted Kinlaw to be Buckners replacement
But they quickly found out that shit ain't gonna work
1. Kinlaw is still raw and doesn't have the pass rush moves Buckner had
2. And he can't stay healthy

They found out the hard way, the apparent heir to Buckners spot is actually Armstead
The only good thing Kinlaw can do is stop the run
So give him DJ Jones' spot, taking on double teams

On obvious passing situations, he comes off the field & we bring in an extra pass rusher like Arden Key or a Dee Ford type speed rusher
So at least we can minimize Kinlaws snaps, & wear/tear, and use him as just a 2 down linemen
We just have to hope his knees hold up a few more years though
Kinlaw & Armstead starting inside, with Maurice Hurst rotating when they need a breather

Agreed my brother. It hurts to see the young talent leave when we know they can contribute.. Contribute in winning ways as well. Making positive plays. Its a tough pill to swallow.

Kinlaw definitely should be rotational. Have him in on base downs; swapped on passing downs. Get that rush line in there. Perhaps Hurst is the guy next to Armstead. I would love to see Charles Omenihu get some reps there as well. He's shown he can get pressure inside and out. A rush line of Bosa, Armstead, Omenihu, Ford/Ebukam. Resign Key and add him to the mix.

Panthers are reported as talking to Cleveland for Baker Mayfield.

So the irony of this is Seattle may be the only team left for Jimmy. I don’t see Lynch trading him within the division however.

I still think the Giants are an option. Daniel Jones & Tyrod Taylor combined aren’t as good as Jimmy. They need someone to right that ship.

I want him traded just to clear salary space and give us peace of mind.

If we keep him on the roster I say let Trey start and he’s the veteran backup. We just have quality at the position.

At this stage though I can see Jimmy sticking on the team until camps & preseason starts. QB’s always suffer an injury then. That’s when Jimmy would be a hot commodity.

At this point it all comes down to finances. It’s a matter of can we afford the guy.

Key is definitely testing the market, as he should. iIt wouldn’t surprise me if he was offered something similar to what Hyder received though.

As we all know having J.G. still on the books has hamstrung our ability to maneuver. I hope someone bites on him.
