I hate Rose. I was glad to see her lose. I don't buy her humble act.
Even if its real, I like seeing a champ who wants to be champ. For her to say that, it's just too much for her. She's talented. Showed me even more tonight. Very gifted. But for her to feel where Jessica had repositioned, and still hold on to that arm, is the kind of brain freeze she's prone to do. Joanna made her mad, so she kept her focus and killer instinct. But Jessica is a KILLER. if you don't kill her she will kill you. And she wants to fight.
This mixed up that division. Joanna can comeback, and maybe Jessica can beat her this go round. If she doesn't it'll be good to see JJ get back on top. Then Rose will have to fight her again. I love the potential. Rose will have to become an intentional killer now, or just leave.
Lol why I like her. She's game. Rose is too, she just hides it.
Man.... Rose is the most talented woman in that division by far and just got caught with a funky ass slam. That's the only weapon Andrade had against her.
Joanna didn't make her mad in that second fight and Rose whooped JJ's ass.
People say all kinds of shit right after a fight. She will regroup and hopefully go right back after the title.
...and Rose is the KILLER in that division.
JJ is a weirdo that will never recover her title. All those dumbass antics made her look like a damn fool.
She is trying to clean up her image with her fake tits and nicer attitude, but she is still a petty bitch to me.
The only weapon? That's the only weapon she needed?
Watch Andrade against JJ. She's getting pieced up there too, but she keeps coming. She doesn't even slow down til around the 3rdbround , and she comes the whole fight.
Rose was happy to be catching her, but she was slowing down when she shouldve been trying to finish. And Everytime they're in the clinch, Jessicas gonna have the advantage there. She's a well rounded fighter. She has a KO punch and will manhandle you in the clinch. And she can take a punch to get in there. Listen to her corner between rounds. They asked her "do you feel her punch?" She said no. They said "perfect. Keep going. She's doing what you want. "
Rose is definitely a better striker.and she has great ground skills She still lacks in the clinch, especially against Andrade. That doesn't mean she's not well rounded but Jessica comes to EAT. And it was only the 2nd. With that advantage rose had with the hands, she better look to finish early next time. Jessica will get anyone eventually. She even got JJ with one or two. Rose mentally slipped. She does that sometimes. That's wasn't a lucky slam.
Her only weapon tonight against Rose.
Not taking anything away from Andrade at all. She is like Tyson in there and she was throwing some hard hooks. She was just too short and wasn't getting inside Rose's reach.
That slam was the only way to beat Rose tonight.
She did them antics the whole time she was winning. She sells fights and backs it up. She lost to Rose. TWICE. Rose put in work. Congrats. But JJ fought 6 times in 2 years. She defended the title against everybody. Including Andrade where she pieced her up and almost finished her. She's being herself. I think Amdrade can win a rematch but Rose would've sat onthis shit all year, playing humble. Andrade fights. JJ fights. Karate Hotty is in tbe running for a shot too.
That's the only way you saw by the second round. That slam was a result of her being way stronger. And Rose does get tired , so that distance was gonna be closed. Again, I take nothing away from Rose. But that was only round 2. Joanna beat rose in tbe 3rd round May have won the 4th. Rose slows down. Against Andrade that is a problem. But even if that was all she had, that's all she needed
I get that JJ is a beast. I though her to be unbeatable at one point.
I like the new JJ, but those antics were a complete turn off to me and she got super humbled.
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
She's been humble. Getting beat doesn't stop her from talking her shit cuz her shit isn't based on that. He shit talk is based on the fire in her belly. I thought she was gonna kill Rose. Man was I wrong.

Agreed. Rose has a different mind set. She wants to help humanity in some way. She is a very complicated person. Hope she finds her calling.

See, this is that bullshit I don't like about Rose. She's happy to talk about how she was "whipping her butt" about Jessica, and she "knows"she can beat her, but she just doesn't wanna do it anymore. Then she says she lost just because she "got a little lazy" and "tired of being in there" , instead of the fact that Jesica overpowered her and slammed her. She doesn't like the adversity. She lies about using her platform to inspire people to go against their fears, then she says "it's scary", and she doesn't wanna go back in there, now that she's gotten the by and finally rant into the shit she's been afraid of. I've had this feeling from her that she's been doing that fake humility Jones used to do before he was exposed.
She's talented. At some point, Pat Barry showed her her potential to be the best. People get mad at these people who talk shit , and put it on the line. She wants to be portrayed as the humble martial artist. I noticed between rounds she kinda licked he lips and smiled as she was busting Jessicas ass. she thought it was gonna be easy. Now she's beaten JJ but will never accomplish what JJ did. She has ONE title defense. I feel like she needs to be honest about who she really is, get back in there, and go for it.
I know I'm making up a lot about her,. It that's always been my feeling. Even Andrade had to go through fire to get this. And now that she has it, she's not gonna sit back and rest. I respect people who look to clean out their divisions, not on the belt like home base
lol... Not sure why you are so emotional about Rose or why you don't believe she is a genuine person, but everyone sees things differently I guess.
I hope she continues to fight, but if not, I'm sure she will OK to leave the sport. It is what it is.
They should have subtitled this UFC 237: Night of the Living Dead. Way too many fighters that should have hung up their gloves years ago. BJ Penn was a straight savage, now losing left and right. Little Nog should have hung it up when his brother did. I hope this injury forces Anderson to hang it up. I like Guida too but he's done he needs to hang it up.
I don't know if they should have let Rose talk at the post fight press conference. It was way too soon. I thought that heffa had a broken neck or back after that slam. Her legs were twitching for a couple seconds afterward. Props to Andrade but I thought she would have ran through Rose. Instead she was getting that work.
Brazilian MMA might be in trouble on the men's side. Only the women are winning and that may be because the skill level hasn't caught up to the men's level quite yet. If they don't evolve they might end up like the Japanese who have all but disappeared from the UFC.
