►► OFFICIAL UFC 205: Alvarez vs McGregor - Nov. 12th, 2016 - New York, NY

That picture next to Khabib is Khabib with shoes on and Conor having gotten down to 145. probably around 150-155 at fight time...and Khabib still isn't much bigger
than him. Tony either. If they did manage to get to the fight, they would face a harsh reality..fortunately for them those fights don't make sense and they probably won't get it.

Should be interesting to see the next few years of match-ups.

- How many years does McG have left?

- The next few fights for Nurmagomedov and Ferguson respectively

- Which belt McG relinquishes (145 or 155)

- Does McG ever return to the 145 division? Aldo fight in Dec' was 145. But otherwise it has been 170, 170, and 155 for Conor (March, August, November)

- How many years left for Aldo and Edgar?

- When does the UFC make that 3rd match-up with Nate Diaz? Do they do it for the 155lb title versus McG?

This is a really fragile time for Conor. He is so active, but I have never known someone in this fight game to not have an injury that they can't fight past at some point. 145 again is doubtful since he has filled out and is past the age of 25 now. Add the business and his family to the mix and things can change quickly. I just
hope he gets one lifetime securing payday within his next two fights. I don't see the Nate fight being available for him. Frankie is in a bad spot because he is older and he is the #2 FW in the world. He can't get past Aldo and it won't make sense for Conor to fight him. Nothing to gain that he couldn't get with any other fighter. I see a much easier fight with Khabib than his doubters do. I think it would actually take him knocking out every last fighter available for people to just accept that he actually hits hard as shit. He is the new version of Chuck Liddell. That left is a show closer. Nate has a very hard head. He just doesn't get knocked out on the regular like these other guys, plus he has some size on him. Lando Vannata put them paws on Tony, so no doubt Conor could land all night. I don't think he KO's him. But a TKO is not out of the question. I really don't see any big money makers for Conor except Nate and Aldo. I would like for him to safely get down to 145 with the help of the best nutritionist and fight Aldo one time in Ireland and then fight Khabib in New York.

Very good points, RL.

Definitely a wild year for McG fighting 4 high-profile fights (all main events) in an 11-month span across 3 divisions.

Unfortunate that the Aldo fight was such a crazy, quick finish as it fucked up the division with all the build-up to it, and no real resolution. In a perfect world they would have battled for 25 minutes like Aldo-Mendes II, and there would have been a close decision and potential rematch. Both fighters being well-deserving.

Whereas McG went on the Diaz, Diaz, and Alvarez for his next 3 fights, and Aldo won the interim strap over Frankie in July (having already beaten him once in recent years already).

Hoping the best for Fergusion & Khabib N' ... Khabib is such a beast with the grappling and wrestling. Whereas Ferguson is a highlight reel waiting to happen, and is an offensive dynamo and so durable & reckless in there. Always fun to watch.

As for Aldo-Mendes II ... hell, I want those guys to one day do a trilogy (even though Aldo is already up 2-0), haha.

Some of those fighters are taking the wrong attitude. People try to say Conor is ducking and hand picking..but at the end of the day if you really think you are the best then you should be acting like the champion anyway. Waiting for Conor to fight you instead of taking on the next top guy shows that you don't want to risk a loss of that payday. When in fact if you won the belt you would have to fight the other person anyway and someone with total confidence shouldn't be worried about losing. They can't say they don't want to risk an injury because they have all pulled out of a fight the past two years except for Conor. Chad is on suspension for a while. Aldo should be fighting Max either in Hawaii or Brazil. He can't sulk because he had the chance to take RDA's place and he couldn't fight. He is not owed anything because they had to damn near do a world tour twice because of him and he only lasted a few seconds the first fight. He held up Conor so he shouldn't be too upset that he is getting held up. And Khabib has been too inactive to demand anything. Unfortunately Conor probably won't fight until around this time next year.

Joanna Jedrzejczyk eyes second UFC belt, show in Poland in 2017

Strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk has big ambitions for 2017.

Jedrzejczyk, who's coming off a unanimous decision win over Karolina Kowalkiewicz at UFC 205, defending her strawweight title for a fourth time, is looking to win a second UFC belt just like Conor McGregor did the night of her fight with Kowalkeiwicz. Jedrzejczyk is confident that she's earned the opportunity to be a two-division champion, and sees that opportunity coming to fruition sometime next year.

"Sure, I think that can happen in 2017," Jedrzejczyk told Ariel Helwani on a recent edition of The MMA Hour. "I think that I earned that, I deserved that, and I feel like I've gotten so much attention from the media, the international media, and from Dana [White]. I've put on great work again, a great fight, and I think this might happen. I'm very calm, enjoying my victory. I have some stuff to do, I'm going to enjoy my time with my family, and then, I'm going to talk to the UFC, talk to Dana, and we'll figure out what to do."

The belt that Jedrzejczyk has her sight set on is the 125-pound title which currently doesn't exist in the UFC. There are currently only two women divisions in the UFC – strawweight and bantamweight. However, in June, Valerie Letourneau and Joanne Calderwood fought at flyweight at UFC Fight Night 89, marking the first women's flyweight bout in the promotion's history. It's not for certain when or if the UFC will create a women's flyweight division, but what is certain is that there's interest from fighters and fans for more women's divisions in the UFC.

Apart from wanting a second UFC belt, Jedrzejczyk also sees the UFC bringing an event to her home country of Poland in 2017.

"Of course," Jedrzejczyk said. "I want this show in Poland, and I think that I will fight in the second part of 2017, why not?"

Wellllll, Conor didn't do that. He didn't just take all the top contenders before he got Aldo OR Eddie. He just yapped his mouth and got em
