►► OFFICIAL UFC 210: Cormier vs. Johnson 2 - Apr. 8th, 2017

I'm blown away by how shitting 205 is now
aint no one seeing Corimer other than Jones (that cant get his shit toghter)
and Rumble owns everyone else

gonna have to see if this Jimmy dude is the truth
Jimi Manuwa got legit one punch power but he's too one dimensional to fuck with either Jones or DC. Just to put things in perspective Gus and Rumble handled his ass with ease and finished him.

good to know
atleast he a brother and but he aint fucking 1(Jones) & 1A(DC)
Rumble was 2 and everyone else seems to be 6-8s

Terrible

And their only cash cow is about to get his ass beat by a retired boxer and take a $25 million payday and tell them to kiss his ass as he goes to hollywood to do bad movies and feed his coke habit..

That's the only way the UFC will make some money this year by raping McGregor from this fight. That's why Dana White is pushing so hard to sell this joint. They are about to give McGregor the good ol' Don King rape for his loot.

Rumble was just in there for this last check. Dude probably has his business set up already. I mean why not use your main advantage and instead try to wrestle with Cormier.

John Jones need to come back and take the crown. DC a little arrogant for a dude that was in tears when Jones whooped his ass

They better. May be their last huge payday off him for a while.. Dude was unbearable when he was making $3million a fight.. Hes gonna be a nightmare to deal with when he has Fuck You money..

I'm just glad my baby Denise won tonight.

....and Silva was playing around too fucking much in both fights....
Yep, most definitely in the first fight. (I think he was a little shook in the second fight.) He could have won both fight, though. He's a shell of his former self now, though. Killer instinct and fast twitch reflexes are shot.

so this faggot admitted that he put his hands down to basically bait Moussassi for that illegal knee, but Moussassiraised him him to lift his hands before he kneedhim.

FUUUUCk this dude

In my opinion...

Appeal.
No Contest.
Rematch.
Mousassi vs Weidman part 2

They got unfinished business to settle

Rumble Corner Audio Transcript

As per MMA junkie
Round 1
Voice: Take your time. Nice. Take your time. Don’t take him down.

Hooft: Don’t wrestle him.

Voice: If you’re going to go, go single.

Hooft: You don’t have to wrestle him, AJ. Just relax.

Voice: Don’t wrestle him.

Hooft: Get out of there. Get out of there.

Grappling coach Neil Melanson: OK, stud. Now, let’s get your hands hot.

Voice: Why is he wrestling him?

Hooft: This is stupid.

Voice: Why is he wrestling him?

Hooft: (Expletive) it, man. Just get off the cage.

Voice: Get out of there.

Voice: Why isn’t he listening?

(Johnson and Cormier are broken up by referee John McCarthy, and Johnson lands kicks.)

Voice: He’s tired already, DC. He doesn’t need to do this.

Voice: Why isn’t he listening?

Hooft: I don’t know why he’s doing that. We have no (expletive) eyes.

Break between Round 1 and Round 2
Hooft: Can you tell me why you’re wrestling? Now, you’re not going to wrestle. You take your distance. Stay away, two steps away. Why are you so worried about everything? The kicks and the knees are really good, but no kicks. Where’s your hands?

Voice: You’re doing great. Don’t (expletive) wrestle him.

Hooft: If you stand your distance, it’s an easy game. Why make it difficult?

Round 2
Hooft: Movement. Athletic. Movement. That’s it. Take your distance.

(Johnson reverses against the cage and goes for another takedown)

Hooft: You need distance.

Hooft: I’m not saying nothing.

(Cormier has Johnson on the mat and is setting up a choke)

Hooft: It’s going the same as last time.

(Johnson submits to Cormier via rear-naked choke)

Hooft: Why, why the (expletive) does this happen every (expletive) time, man? Crazy.

Since Silva, Weidman beat a washed up Machida who nearly KO'd him, a washed up Belfort, and he's been finished 3 times in a row. Overrated is an understatement.
Lol yup. He's been lookin BAD. That wrestling style is some shit.

Silva coulda beat him If he wasn't playing around the first time and the second time was a freak accident. Too bad. I think he can beat dude even right now. They should do it again and both can get a nice farewell paycheck.

At this point, looking at how shitty Weidmans striking is and how he gets outclassed eventually by all of them, he won't be in that top echelon. He's got fame from Silva so they may as well call it a trilogy and head out to pasture. He seems really determined to finish on a high note but it's looking less and less likely

Rumble was just in there for this last check. Dude probably has his business set up already. I mean why not use your main advantage and instead try to wrestle with Cormier.

John Jones need to come back and take the crown. DC a little arrogant for a dude that was in tears when Jones whooped his ass
So what was he supposed to be acting like to satisfy you?

Pretty cool card. That weidman decision was a pure shitshow. Hopefully they can figure out what they need to to not let that happen again.

So happy for DC. He's excepted his role as the heel and fuck those fans lol. Like him or not he's defended 3 times now right?

Only guy who can beat him is the greatest ever and I truly think if they run it back he can win the next one. Only thing that can stop him is age. He's got the heart. Gotta wonder where Jones heart is right now. I definitely wanna see it again. Even the loss was a great fight.

Good for Rumble I guess. His heart is just somewhere else. Takes a special kinda person to wanna do that shit and I can see at that level he just don't want it. I think he could've won but it's all about what mental space you're in and he ain't there. Cool guy though and I wish him the best in where he goes next. I have a hunch that he'll be back for another check later, except by then he won't be in the shape he's in now and it will be bad for him.

No Connor
No Rhonda
No Bones
No AJ
205 & heavyweight divisions straight trash

UFC is fucked
Clearly you're a casual. Bones is still there ad only 28.

AJ isn't really a star anyway

Who gives a fuck about Ronda?

There's are several divisions and they fluctuate all the time.
The real draw of the ufc is that ANYTHING can happen. Stars come and go all the time.

i consider myself more than a casual
but from a money making marquee perspective they are fucked. The UFC has lost all the momentum it had with peak Rhonda & Connor. Love em or hate they were the biggest stars the UFC has had to date.

the names ai mentioned were headliners that brought in cash. AJ wasnt a household but he had exciting knockpower and was the 3rd best fighter at 205. 205 that was once the primere division during the UFC golden era which is now paper thin

and ya'll can put your faith in Jones but he has shown to be a complete fuck up outside of the ring
ring rust is a legit thing and i would be concerned with his performance fighting the 2nd best fighter at 205 after one fight in 2 years.

Now we see why he fought this way.. Rumble mailed it in guys.. He was here for a check. Mentally he was not in this shit.

Horrible night for UFC..

Looking like a bad 4 billion investment for IMG so far.
Yeah he just wasn't there.

I guarantee you new stars will be emerging this year and next year tho. That's how it always happens.

I'd put my money on that new African/Brit kid in the 155 division.

Also ganebred will have a good year. True fighter.

The womens divisions have some heat lines up for this year as well.

GSPs "return" is good for a check but i don't think much else.

Mighty mouse even tho not popular will either break records or suffer a stunning upset.

There are fighters from other leagues who may come out to the ufc and make noise too. Justin Gaedje from WOF comes to mind.

Conor fighting Floyd will bring more eyes to the sport even when he loses.

And who knows , Ronda may come get her ass beat one more time. She seems to be just that stupid.

People said that when Tito was there. When Fedor fought (not for ufc, but the sport)

I came in steady when Rashad and rampage and Chuck Liddell were there. Benson Henderson. Anthony Pettis. All exciting stars in their times

Jones being s fuckup is a GOOD thing.

Now you got Manuwa who has the same KO power as AJ. KO power is everywhere.

None of the stars in this game last long.

The womens divisions got started by Ronda but they're just really trying their stride. You can tell by the fact that she can't even beat the top 4 in the division she created. Watch those chicks

Joanna jerdre- however the fuck you spell her name.

Cyborg. Theres plenty of chemistry out there plus new stars we don't even know aboht yet.

And what is this golden era of 205 you're talking about?

Damn...Myles Jury with the crazy elbows from the top.

Good to see Myles come back with a solid win after a long layoff - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myles_Jury#Mixed_martial_arts_record

Damnnn Ill Will:smh::smh:

1-2 in his UFC career since last July after several years of dominance in Bellator - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Will_Brooks#Mixed_martial_arts_record

Damn I didn't even realize Urijah Faber been fighting for that long
10+ years already, time flies man

Yeah - great career for Faber. Hard to believe it's been 10+ years since the first Cruz fight - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urijah_Faber#Mixed_martial_arts_record

wtf AJ retiring now?
now the light heavyweight division which made the UFC only has 2 fighters
and one of em cant get his shit togther

the UFC is FUCKED

WTF he just retired!!!

retire? so if he would have won he would have gave up that belt?

Got damn loser giving a long ass interview like he a winner

That retirement caught everyone off-guard, for real. Especially with Cote already retiring a few fights prior on the main card, and no one expecting Johnson to do so at this point - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Johnson_(fighter)#Mixed_martial_arts_record

and the all american golden boy has lost 3 in a row huh

boy beating an elderly Anderson Silva sure blasted that overrated fucker into unwarranted stardom

Rough go for Weidman in recent years. His most legit wins in my opinion were Maia (coming in on short notice with a drastic weight cut to face Maia - given his recent dominance and streak of wins stopping people with his jiu-jitsu), Munoz (brutal standing elbow & follow-up punches) and the battle with Machida. Whereas his past 3 opponents - Mousasi, Romero, and Rockhold - were too much for him, for real - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Weidman#Mixed_martial_arts_record
