He can't walk at the end of this season his contract runs through the 2019-2020 with a one year option...

N.O. hold the cards until next year's 2020 trade deadline...

Rich Paul is trying to force N.O. hands but they can just wait until this summer with more options and the 2019 draft picks are set...
I agree with this I don't even think he's gonna be traded this year

Was at the gym a few weeks ago and they asked him and he said he was gonna stay put and that he wanted to be a factor where he was at, wonder what changed. :dunno:

Dude, I simply don't know. I watch some of the young ex Lakers ball out (Randle. Da Snitch) and others (Clarkson, Nance) remain the same. Will AD, Bron, Rondo and scrubs compete for a tittle? I'm looking at Milwaukee and the Kings as 76ers as at least building around the best pics. We will see.

Sports heads calling AD a quitter...

Why DON'T they ever consider

Its the ORGANIZATION fault?

Cause sports is the only place that's anti union pro ownership in this country

People side with management every time
But would be offended if sports athletes said you guys don't deserve raises should have shorter contracts be thankful for your job and it's always your fault not yours bosses fault

How'd that go if athletes said we need to bust up the unions of the work force stop being spoiled babies

Oh you want to transfer to a better job with better benefits more opportunity to achieve professional goals and putting your family in a better location because the current job you have just isn't cutting it?

You're a traitor

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Pelicans released the following statement regarding Anthony Davis:

This past weekend, Anthony Davis’ representatives informed us that Anthony does not wish to sign a contract extension with our team and subsequently has requested a trade. Although we are disappointed in this decision, our organization’s top priority is to bring an NBA championship to our city and fans and build our team for long-term success.

Relative to specific talks of a trade, we will do this on our terms and our timeline. One that makes the most sense for our team and it will not be dictated by those outside of our organization. We have also requested the League to strictly enforce the tampering rules associated with this transaction.

Exactly. They traded to get Cousins who was grew up 3 hours from there and was willing to stay provided he was paid. He got hurt and they didn't want to gamble on him being worth the same amount after his injuries. They should have paid him. There is no way a free agent of his caliber will ever choose New Orleans.

Small market teams have only a few options to be competitive.

1. Draft good players and pay them max to stay.
2. Trade for good players and pay them max to stay.

AD would have stayed if Cousins was still there with Rondo.

All this Laker talk is foolish . Several teams can put better packages than the Lakers. N.O. doesn't have to trade him to the Lakers and A.D. hasn't said he wants to go there. Boston will put up the best package by far. And then N.O. will be sold to a Seattle group......

The only winning team with assets that would entice the Pelicans is the Celtics.

The losing team with the most assets is the Bulls. The Bulls could put a package of Bobby Portis, Jabari Parker, and draft picks.

Boston book it

Boston doesn't have as much as people think

all their draft picks aren't that great, because Sacramento is pretty good and Memphis has stayed healthy and all the shitty teams in the east. They're not going to have a top five pick.

Brown has regressed

and they have Tatum, but IMO he's not a franchise player. His stats are pretty identical to Kyle, other than him shooting better from three.

Youthful putting up them numbers,

I’d tell them they could have Brown and Tatum and a pick for AD
