Official BGOL Crypto Currency Thread ★★★★★

Here is a possible explanation on why Ripple is slowly creeping up. This came out on the 17th last Friday, I don't think it is a coincidence.
https://ripple.com/insights/ripple-...ion-of-the-use-of-blockchain-for-global-rtgs/

yes...these mofos are finaly starting to wake their slow, manipulative asses up.....come on ripple, make me a multimillionaire. all I need is a 1 dollar per coin but ill take 5-7 USDs :hellyea:

if it did go to a dollar, I already have several spin off businesses to embolden to create wealth. they say the first million is the hardest....
BGOL...LETS GET THIS MONEY!!!

I have also noticed that several blocks of at least 1 million XRP's have been sold this weekend. Thats an indicator that the big boys are moving in and are strategically placing themselves in the right position for when this blows the fuck up. I have 575k XRP's right now so I need to hurry and get to a million myself.

By the way ETH Classic is moving at a nice steady pace right now. I believe that anything under $2.50 right now is a steal. I plan on adding around 1K worth tomorrow.

The BTC split is going to cause major havoc

Just got an email from Coinbase saying f@uck whatever BTC splits into, they will only honor BTC so take your sh@t out now......

Now is the time to make a play but what to make a play on is the question :confused::confused:

damn...I think this split is also why ripple has risen a bit...it's stability and functioning vs bitcoin...I don't have anything in coinbase but I should still receive an email as a courtesy...haven't received anything yet tho...the only thing that bothers me is the exit strategy was to convert ripple to bitcoin then convert that to $$$...I'll have to pay attention to how/if the split will affect that

That was my concern too Leroy. What do we convert to in the case Bitcoin implodes.

I was in Saudi Arabia the last couple of months and couldn't get on bgol because of morality law... Everything gets blocked over there... When I left this thread was at 6 or so pages... I'm signing up to buy Ripple right now

You better boy..don't wanna miss out on that boat

Can y'all address this:
1. Ripple is a private company, and that's opposite to what other cryptocurrencies are: somewhat decentralized projects with leadership but not really owned by anyone.

2. As a private company, ripple can release any number of tokens they want, so investing into it it's like pouring money on a bottomless bag.

3. Ripple is centralized. For example projects like dash atleast they are trying to appear decentralized, even tho most nodes are owned by the devs that instamined the coin.

4. Ripple probably works as a project, but i don't see a reason why someone would invest into it because the profit prospects are so tiny given the reasons above. Even if every bank of the world partners with ripple, nothing would change. As soon as people would buy and pump the price up, they would release new coins to make money out of thin air.

Good thought process:

1) Exactly right, there are much better decentralized alt coins, sia what I mean?

2) No one in this thread is expecting a bitcoin replacement, but we are hoping for a dollar like replacement with bitcoin capability. So for all who are in if xrp reaches an equivalent value (say 1 usd) we would be good.....

3) While I can only speculate, my "hood senses" are going off....bitcoin is on top, so what is causing the upcoming split? It couldn't be a decentralized coin....nobody is close. Could it be the massive ground xrp is making with the banking community (there were some hugely promising press releases from a few major players about ripple, sorry I don't have the links)?

Also, bitcoin reached a value of 1250 usd....the market is adjusting down, we know, but how far down? 500 usd, 100 usd...who knows? All I know is that unless that next big alt coin is dash, whoever is holding that coin will "come da fuck up"

4) See #2, but going from .0006 to 1.00 is a nice chuck of change, even at 1.00 - think volume vs face value....if somebody gave you a billion pennies would you be rich?

This bitcoin split is going to be major one way or another

Bitcoin Split is due to the concentration on hash power in Chinese operated bitcoin mining operations. They have the power so now they gonna force the hard fork / split.

Check this out.

Thanks for the drop!

I suspect even with that much Chinese backing the internet as a whole would back the original Bitcoin Core block chain.

Hackers have already started attacking BU.

Either way Bitcoin will be adversely affected by any split. And thanks to the attention it has to split otherwise the uncertainty will drag the value down.

ripple will succeed where bitcoin "failed" (as far as "legitimacy" goes) due to #1 and 3 imo

#2 has been a source of debate in this thread...but yes the owners have enough ripple in their control that they can "control" the price of it by trickling however much they need to into the circulating supply...whether or not they're holding ripple to do so is unknown

as far as $ amount ripple doesn't need to be where bitcoin is now...if you buy ripple NOW...it hitting $0.07 is enough to increase your $$$ ten-old... $0.70? a hundredfold ... $7.00 (extremely wishful thinking lol)? a thousandfold

Ok good intel....so it's China against the world....I think the market reaction will still be similar (see most bit/alt coiners reaction to xrp.....patiently waiting......

think of it like this.....
the dollar is the world reserve currency. all business in trade is done by the dollar. you need the dollar to do business transactions internationally....well take out the dollar and out in ripple as the new fast way to exchange money internationally. the banks will have to hold a certain amount of ripple to exchange in order to do international business transactions. given that banks in japan, china, middle east, and Romania are already testing this protocol....well 36 billion may seem like a lot but omce banks start buying ti up for money transfers it will disappear fast. they are cautious now and doing their due diligence with proof of concepts and experimental testing...but once it goes live....well you see how many countries need the dollar and have it in their holdings. their banks will do the same thing to e able to launder money for the cartels faster (joking here)...maybe. but 36 billion is nothing...like buying amazon stock when it was 20 dollars
had to go back on page 64 for this.

Buying coin is a fools errand.

Mining coin used to be doable by the average joe. Now you have to have a cheap power source (solar) and cooling (cold climate) and lots of money to invest in mining rigs to turn a small profit.

Don't get caught up in the hype. Coin markets are Ponzi schemes where they pump and dump the coins on the unsuspected or uneducated.

Maybe so, but there is no denying that bitcoin has gone from millibits or cents to 1300 usd high in less that 8 years. in another 8 years, if ripple goes to 5-7 dollars...then don't come back saying woulda coulda shoulda. I did this last year bc I was given a heads up on bitcoin and bypassed the opportunity out of ignorance.

I'm not trying to buy the store, just male strategic speculation on what will rise based on the coins use or intent or purpose.
somethings going down in the next 1-3 years. I want to be poised to benefit from the melt down of whatever. during the great depressions, fortunes were made betting against the market too....I think someone said it here best.

BULLS EAT, BEARS EAT, PIGS GET SLAUGHTERED!!!

there is a global currency reset that possibly afoot, infighting amongst the elite, the fed rate hike, fake ass GDP and economic reporting numbers. china has cornered the gold market by buying all the gold it can including the mines/rights. Look up the BRICS nations. mofos trying to bring back the gold standards. China controls the largest portion/influence in bitcoin, Russia is making moves to influence the US and it's evident. The march 15th debt ceiling has hit and passed, the US only has enough money to make it to June 1st, 2017. without more debt, the Government has no more money and default will be imminent.

lies upon more lies upon more lies......soon this house of cards will fall.....I want to be ready for it

Ok, bruh...

I can't even begin.... nevermine.

Yeah, ripple is a good buy... horde as much as u can for the price run up or market melt down. Happy now?

Carry on.

Follow Bitcoinmeister on youtube... good daily info from this guy

Any speculation on Dash? I bought in at $40 and its been steady around $100... I have only 5Dash but thinking to hold long term -- some say Dash is the next bitcoin... anyone else holding Dash?

Dash planning release of evolution that will make crypto easy enough for your grandma to use:
