49ers

Im definitely making a game thread for our game.....:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Any word,if Aldon Smith will get his suspension reduced..

He got suspended after rice, no way. we don't get breaks like that. even though he took the steps to get help and voluntarily missed 5 full games last season when he didn't have to.

no rewards for that.

not for us at least.

Atleast he will be back, before the first Seattle game....

Can you imagine..

Gore running at you

and then you say ok cool gore is out and then Hyde comes in???

:smh:

I want to see how our defense measure up against yall running attack.....

So,how's the mood for the fanbase after last night's game...

We've kicked Green Bays ass in their own house how many times now? We don't even consider them a threat.

A lot of people like to forget we were beating Seattle in the NFC Championship before the turnovers and bullshit no calls by the refs. We don't give 2 shits about them.

the games are close we just abandon the run. when we don't we win. its really that simple. no excuses to abandon the run either.. because nobody breaks through until the 20+ carry.
One difference is that the Hawks stack the box and pinch the middle of the field dearing us to attack the outside.. If we ignore that and still run, then we would be playing right into the teeth of one of the best defenses in the NFL..
The Hawks keep us honest by executing plays designed to stretch the defense, not allowing us to pack the box as much... And when we are forced to respect the corner and the deep routs, boom they attack the middle with the run..

But I agree the running game vs the Hawks is a good tactic, even if they are loading the box, for one it slows the game down and it usually keeps the game close..
The problem is it leaves very little room for error for all of the blunders we've been doing along with poor special team play..

^You have to remember. When we beat them at home last season it was because of the run. We controlled the clock and wore them down. In the championship game we unleashed Kap as well and he chewed up yards.

Think back to the 1 game, we ran the ball less than 10 times I believe. Plus there was something like 3 or 4 power runs. Complete crap.

Pounding the rock is our bread and butter but we do stay balanced. When it's balanced throughout the 60 minutes our offense it fine.

The passing game this season should be better because we have a lot of healthy recievers. Boldin, Crabtree & Johnson give us 3 number 1's. Not to mention big Vernon. And sweet lord if Roman ever uses our backs in the passing game (not just the Fullback) we'll be even more deadly.

Their plays don't stretch the defense, they just simply run out of 3wr sets to get a linebacker off the field. that's part of the reason we have jimmie ward because he's technically a db but in reality he's a hard hitting safety on the field with db cover skills.

and they stack the box but we don't run the running plays that are effective.. we have a trillion running plays we whip out on everyone else but them

it's all play calling and roman nutting up when it counts.
not an indicator of anything else but that.

and we're not forced to respect anything. take a look at wilson's numbers the last 3 times he's played us.. then get back to me lol.

Not even about that. That is what you do to our defense. you have to try and run it 40 times.. otherwise... you're not or very rarely going to win a game passing it on EITHER of us.

our corners aren't on their level YET but they will be proven to be top notch in the league.. however our scheme is such it's the entire difference. we both have great schemes. ours is a little more exotic. it gives us an advantage every snap because it's almost impossible to do pre snap reads on us.

if you want me to explain that, i will.

0 excuses for him to not unleash kap. the minute he started using 3 and 4wr sets no surprise kap's passing game took off...

and gore is an excellent pass catcher that we never use.. he was great before roman came

and hyde has soft hands and is an excellent pass catcher as well.

and james...

Gore lead the team in receiving twice. No way in hell he shouldnt be used on purpose in the passing game.

Just touched down in Dallas. The 49er faithful is here rolling deep. You're going to see a lot of red in the stadium tomorrow.

Remember what I preach about basketball, championships are won by three things, talent, execution and strategy, well the same thing applies to all sports, and perhaps football the most..
That said, in terms of talent and strategy well we and the Hawks are very close, how ever in terms of execution, we are not no where close to them...
It seems like every game with them, we are the ones getting the stupid calls, extend critical drives, we are the ones shanking kicks we are the ones fumbling losing the ball a key drives, we are the ones always starting with in our own 15, getting big plays called back due to a hold or clipping.... Then when we are on the sidelines kicking rocks due to some bonehead play, they then hit us with a big dagger that puts the game out of reach..
So yes we need the talent and a good strategy, but unless we become more disciplined by playing a whole game, the results will still be the same...
This is what pissed me off about the preseason, is that we were more concern about hiding our ace in the hole and not showing our secret plans than getting out there and establishing continuity and sense of routine.
Shit all you have to do is look at the offseason to tell our troops lack proper discipline..

nah man youre way off base.

each team has won at home its simple as that. you're acting like we're on a 6 games losing streak to them.

and our troops don't lack discipline that's bs.

aldon lacks discipline but he ain't 52 other people.....

Not just Aldon, trust me... We are mentally weak, and every big game has been marred by some blunder during some crucial point of the game... Every single year, a muff punt, a shank, a offsides during third and long, a run out of the endzone on a kickback and getting tacked at the 7, a runback negated due to holding. At first I thought maybe its bad luck or a series for flukes, but if you couple that with the way we prepare for the season during the offseason and our actions during the offseason, then a lot of that bullshit stats making sense...
And no, its not only Aldon doing the shit..

we are far from mentally weak.

every big game has been fucked up by 1 person and 1 person only

that man is greg roman.

Really, Roman cause all the muffs (tell me what other team muffs, every big game, go all year with out turn overs then turn over, every big game, gets called for holding or clipping, twice a game, in every big game, gets called for holding twice a game to either extend big drives or fuck up big drives...
And to pour salt on the wound, this is exactly how the Hawks beat the Rams yesterday..

Roman couldn't call a play to get into the end zone from 5 yards out to win the super bowl. did not have sense enough to give the ball to gore 3 straight times with ngata out against a tired ravens defense.

so yea

everything else is moot. if he does that we have a super bowl ring.

the end

RoadRage, I hear what you're saying but we're talking about isolated in incidents and fucked up calls by refs.

2011 NFC Championship game: Ted Ginn gets injured the week prior so we have to turn to Kyle Williams.

2012 Super Bowl: The refs call nothing against Baltimore. Carey Williams punched a ref in the chest and nothing happened.

2013 NFC Championship game: There was a video made on all the no calls for Seattle. That's how bad it was.

Does the team make mistakes at times? Yes it does. Just like other teams. Overall we're disciplined and perform well. One individual making a mistake and fucked up refs are not a reflection of the entire team.

Oh don't get me started about the refs, but sadly that part of the game is put of our hands.. And yes they are isolated incidents until you start noticing patterns.. People look at Seattle and they think defense.. I see their specific tesms as being just as important and dominating... With us we would score a touchdown late to go up by 4, in a big game and I bet you the house we would kickoff short allowing the opponent to get the ball around the 35, yet if that eas Seattle, at best you can get is a touchback and more times then none they will pin you close to the ten.. Often they gain big chuncks of yards with the kicking and punting game, shit look how the Greenbay game started.. Knowing they can dominate us on special teams alls them to play conservative and still gain yards even after both teams fail on a three and out..Turnovers, blunders and stupid penalties coupled with their specific team, often enables then to bliw away tesms who are playing toe to toe with them.. This is something we need to start doing more, plsying solid and consistent as opposed to yrying to outsmart and trick opponents.

Right now, we resemble the Ravens back when they used to always fall short to the Steelers.. It wasn't until they got sick and tired of losing and started paying attention to the small details that they were able to break the barrier..
All I know is that we lost due to a blunder muffs in the championship game, due to us not being prepared, in the superbowl, and a comedy of bonehead plays at the end of the Seahawk game last year..
And after all that shit we have a offseason filled with blunders and mishaps, I think we should have gone into training camp working on our guys head, trying to get us to play and be smarter not harder.. In other words Harbs needs to tone down the fiery volatile coach act (I think the act is wearing thin)and stress on being more level headed and in control.
I don't think its a mental thing yet, but right now we have very little room for error, and if we start off slow, or lose to Seattle the same way, then we may have a problem that is bigger than simply X's and O's and talent alone.

Sooo.....
Gabbert over J.Johnson,
