Bullshit.
Davis is better at finishing down low, driving the ball and moving without the ball. Thats where his advantages end offensively
Love actually has better low post, back to the basket moves
Let's not talk about what he can do. Let's talk about what he does. Love shot 500 three pointers last season. We're not talking about his rookie season. We're talking about this most recent play. He's rarely in the low post. Love has turned into a stretch four that likes to shoot 3 pointers. I even posted an article today with his shot chart. GTFOH! You can't be a better low post player when you're never in the damn paint. Davis scores way more points in the paint from the post than Love.
. Davis likes to face up his opponents and drive the ball. He has no low post moves.
He has the same amount of low post moves as Love and he actually shoots in the post. Love shot 800 of his 1300 shots outside of the paint. He's a perimeter player now. Did you watch him this season? You're confusing the player he was with the player he's become. Love is rarely in the paint now. I also posted a long article just today about that very issue.
Davis and Love are equal in the mid-range game.
That's a lie. Go to http://vorped.com/ and looked it up. Davis shoots at higher clip in the midrange by multiple percentage points. He also takes more attempts. Higher percentage while also taking more attempts >>>>>>>
He also shoots 10 percent higher in the paint because he's a better offensive player in the paint. He's faster, handles the ball better, and shoots better with both hands.
You conveniently forgot that basketball players pass the ball to each other. Thats an offensive skill, by the way.
I didn't forget shit. I named the areas where Davis was better. I've already stated multiple times on this board that Love is one of the better passing big man in the league.
Davis gets a lot of his points in transition. Love is alot more useful in the half court.
Love is more useful if your team explicitly lack outside shooting. It depends on what your needs are.. mid-range.. pick and roll..points in the paint, offensive efficiency, it's not close. I posted analytics a couple of months ago that illustrated how Davis was one of the top pick and roll players in the league and that was only rookie season analysis http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on...ony-davis-offense-is-what-makes-him-promising
Love is a better passer and shoots the long ball better. That's it. Offensively, it's a wash at best.
Defensively.. Love is a bum and Davis is top 5 defensive players in the league.
You muthafuckas always confusing low percentage volume shooters as "better" offensive players solely because they score more points.
