Weidman has the goods.

First fight he checked Anderson's standup game, plain and simple.

This time he did it again, by checking the leg kicks that were gonna give him hell if he didn't.

Both times were crazy stoppages that came out of no where but they're both legit.

Both fights he had Silva down for some ground and pound first.

In neither fight did Anderson show any signs of dominance.

It's true in both fights, he COULD HAVE won, but he didn't.

We all wanted to see more but Weidman was only working with what Anderson gave him.

Anderson's still the greatest, and now Weidman is on the path to see if he can achieve some of the same level of dominance. Otherwise he's a guy who pulled off beating Anderson.

this is like the early versions of the mens divisions. They really just started. It's because of someone like her that the whole women's game will be elevated.

My theory is, women don't strike hard enough for no one punch effectiveness. All of them can walk through each others punches, so it only makes sense for them to take it to the ground, or get in the clinch and give some knees.

Clinches and ground game is where its at for ladies- and Ronda is about that life

I'm DEFINITELY sold on Weidman, though. He controlled the fight from start to finish. His game is just plain solid.

I don't see Belfort beating him, Machida either. Unfortunately, the only guy around that I see who has the skills is gotdamn Uriah Hall, and that's just depressing, given his social anxiety disorder.... It's like watching Gohan fight. After a while you just say "fuck it" and start cheering for the other guy.

This..real talk Miesha Tate doesn t have the skillset to beat her because Tates strength is grappling but not as good as Rousey....

Tate needs to work on her striking but it may be too late...but a one talent gimmick woupdn t fly in the males division...so yeah I m not sold either but real talk..
Dana needs to promote more female fighters then just Rousey..he has more that folks like....

But truthfully, people mostly dislike her right now because they sided with Tate after watching the show. Ronda was bitchy on there because she HATES Tate- and even Cat pointe out that Tate does some bitchy slick shit that the rest of the world aint seeing.

Ronda said it in the presser- some analogy about the super hero playing the vilian for one episode. They'll be right back on her dick the next fight. She shows a lot of respect to her opponents normally. Plus, they will eventually respect her for being real.

This is the biggest female fight the UFC could arrange, yet they won’t do it unless Justino sheds the 10 pounds required to compete in the bantamweight division. Justino has claimed her doctor’s say it is medically unsafe for her to fight at 135 pounds.

Justino and manager Tito Ortiz proposed a catchweight bout in the past, but that makes no sense to UFC president Dana White.

Many pundits believe Justino is the only lady alive who could defeat Rousey, and that’s why some suggest the UFC would never arrange the tango – in order to protect their golden girl. The UFC recently added a new women’s division, but they went lighter in weight (115-pound strawweights), instead of bigger to allow Justino into the Octagon.

At this point, it’s on Justino to lose the pounds. Rousey holds all the cards and has no incentive to fight at any weight besides 135 pounds.
