Nah bruh. These disease are a byproduct of the standard America diet (SAD diet) and modern agricultural/manufacturing practices. The experts said lard & butter wasn't good for you. They offered hydrogenated & genetically modified alternatives that turned out to be way worst. Franken sugars & oils are in damn near everything. This effect the quality of soul food, but that grub sustained us in the past. Not saying that food was perfect, but it is not responsible the poliferation of these diseases over the last 50 years. I like soul food but i can't eat it daily nor can I trust the restaurant making it if they using hydrogenated trans-fats & catering to wyte palletes.
