Y'all eating Paula Patton's fried chicken?

Washing, or actually rinsing the chicken, means, to me, getting rid of any bone fragments/inorganics from the chicken. Yes it means spraying the sink down with a disinfectant after washing
Ok, so the real argument here is what exactly is considered "washing" chicken? Some saying just to rinse under running water, others use vinegar &/or lemon juice, others still don't do anything, just take it out the pack season it and cook it.

I'm still learning how to cook, so I was confused for 2 pages. I rarely cook chicken, its usually fish for me

the down side is they wasn't raised by a big momma and their mother's wasn't shit so all of the tricks to the trade of woman-hood went to hell in a hand basket lol....she never took a bath with vinegar in it,pads fuck up toilet system can't handle it,most can't deal with a lot of milk, hair in a comb gets burned or hidden,we have grease buckets for the flavor......we miss big momma's
Hair in comb gets burnt or hidden?
Makes sense she got it from her momma

Bless her heart!
Salt is used to cure (preserve) meats. Science 101: Cells in a hypertonic solution (like salty water) shrivel and die (the bacteria dies). And the meat becomes tenderized (protein denatures b/c of salt, polypeptides bonds of amino acids breakdown). Besides adding flavor this the reason for brining.

Vinegar is a product of fermentation where beneficial microbials kill of the bad ones. I use cleaning vinegar (higher concentration that edible vinegar) as non-toxic disinfectant. It also breaks down hard water deposits in tub/shower or kettle or water bottles.

Jewel: Rinse your salmon in vinegar and water solution to get rid of slime & strong fishy taste. Thank me later.

I use vinegar to clean around house because I'm on well water, but I haven't seen anything over 5% acidity

I use lemons (or limes) for salmon

She was proud of herself too

Like it was some family recipe passed down.

Paula, my secret recipe is Lowry's, they love that

 :lol:I can tell by that fake smile and her voice that she cried when she read those comments and saw that other chicks video because she really thought she was doing something. Either she is lying about that being her mothers recipe or that was her first time making it and she didn’t do it right because THE CHICKEN WAS NOT DONE!!!

I'm gonna have to check with The Mom's and Sister.
Because I think it was Gabriel's Brother who started either "RELIABLE" or "COPELAND'S" way back when on 145th St.
And Charles was the main Cook at one of those spots.

"RELIABLE" was known to have the better food back in the day.
Especially the Mac & Cheese.

Warshin' it does absolutely n'un for it asides from givin' folks da peace of mind of "thinking" that it's cleaned. Anything harmful will be eliminated via cooking it at it's proper internal temperature. No, I'm not finna argue with nann one uh y'all brain dead niggas about it either. Yes, I'm a professional. And yes, I MIGHT rainch my shit off with wawta if I feel like it.
:giggle:
Shorty you eat pussy from the back. I know you ain't concerned with debris, peace of mind or germs...

There is a reason organic, grassfed, kosher & halal meats is superior and cost more. The rest of us got to wash the meats. I eat pussy from the back too, however, i make sure it's thoroughly cleaned & wash tho.
:dunno::lol:

From the Back? You mean From the Bike?

just because she clowned you doesn’t mean she is right. Every single holiday season experts go on TV and ask people to please, please, please stop washing their poultry because of cross contamination. Your way of thinking is aligned with the experts, yet for some reason we just can’t seem to get over what our grandma did. Lol. A lot has been learned since then.
Fuck that, nobody eating the expert's food at a potluck. Grandma the real expert at frying chicken. Cross contamination can happen even if you don't bother to "clean" the chicken. The problem is mf don't do shit right. And the cleaning process is not just about killing germs. It's about tenderizing, enhancing flavor, respecting the animal & taking proper care of food you gonna give your love ones. Following the "experts" will have your ass with obesity, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, etc. Grandma won't steer you wrong.

Nicca please. I love grandma’s, but ALL those diseases you mentioned are a result of the DIET tradition of grandmas all over the Black south.

Some of y'all would eat food seasoned with arsenic, as long as the bitch is cute.

But if the bitch is cute (or not) - and she's scheming on you to die for her to come up on some money, you could be eating something laced with arsenic without you knowing it, and you die a slow death over time, while she continues to cook for you.:(

This is why we've got to learn how to make our own food...or hire a taster...

...or watch her cook the food, and say, "No baby, you try it first. You know I love to watch you eat what you make for me."
