Workout Heads What the best way to get bigger arms

Push-ups For the Tri's and forearm's
Curls- For biceps
reverse curls- for forearms
Pull-ups for strength
Tricep curl(when the weights is being raised up and down behind your neck) for triceps
My thing is not how much weight you use but how many reps you can do. Start heavy then go light. But the lighter you go stretch out 1 or 2 more extra. You'll have arms like mine one day. :D It's the gut I'm focusing on this winter :(

work out your triceps. they get bigger it will give your arms a much bigger look than just making your biceps bigger.triceps make up 2/3 of your arm. also do hammer curls. the are good for getting that bigger look.

Twenty-one's and Jailhouse curls are good to add to the routine when working arms. Just remember...use your full range of motion (bring that bar all the way down to the front of your quads)...keep those elbows tight to the side and keep that back straight.

Push-ups, chin-ups.

And

SQUATS!.

I know it sounds strange but your gonna have to just trust me on the squats.

Yeah...people under-estimate the power of squats in adding overall body mass. Just think about how many muscles are involved in an actual squat movement.

what are 21's

It's where you take a barbell or ez bar...then execute 3 "sets" of curls...for the first set, only curl from the middle of your torso to the top of the movement...the next set is from the middle of your torso to the bottom of the movement, then the final set is the complete range of motion

Here's an example

Power lift and the dead lift!!! I'm feeling those squats!!

If you like dead lifts and squats, try this, I call em "Heart Attacks".

Pick a moderate weight (I use 2 45 plates).

Do 10 deadlifts (bent or stiff legged).

On the 10th take a few breaths and flip the bar up to your shoulders (front/top of the chest) and do 5 over head presses.

On the 5th rest the weight behind the head and do 10 squats.

When your done RACK the weights b/c more than likely you wont be able to get the bar back over your head again to floor the weights.

Then wait for your heart attack, I advise to not sit and to walk around a bit untill your heart rate comes down.

I gotta try that...I've been looking for a good circuit workout...I try to get my workouts done in less than 30-40 minutes

All these are good ideas but they left out one important thing!
To get arms BIG stretch them after every set! and get a good Whey Protein

for triceps i do bar dips push ups and tricep extensions!
for biceps i do concentration curls 21's and i do this bicep curl where i use a bar squat down put my elbows on my knees curl while in squat down positions and these usually burn the shit out of them biceps!

But remember, now matter how big ur guns...if your fat, it don't matter....if you got no definition, they just look like big huge blobs.

Fuck wit them drop sets at least once a week, and I know this is a highly argued supplement, but Muscle Milk (or even a knock off version) is a good growth/recovery protein shake, it's got more calories and fat and costs more but that shit works for me...

Twenty-Ones are the damn devil! I HATE them bitches but love the results.

I use those off-and-on just give the biceps a lil taste of something different from regular curls.

Excellent if you need/want to shed fat quickly while increasing over all strength. Great suggestion.

45's are alot though. Most could get great results from 25's just as well.

Indeed, I started the circuit with 25's about 6 months ago and added weight every month or so.

Oh and for the record (b/c of the pm I got), I use 2 45's in TOTAL not 2 45's on each end of the bar ...well not yet anyways!.

Heavy sets of straight bar and dummies. 6-8 reps, never more. If you are looking to gain mass the weight must stay heavy.

everything Everyone Is Saying Here Is Great Info, But If You Dont Get Those Tri's Right, Your Arms Will Never Have A Real Big , Muscular Look.

another good arms workout are preacher curls ans super set with cheater curls (muscling the weight up)

yeah pretty much everything beens said, pay more attention to your triceps than your biceps though, since they're a bigger muscle. work your back then triceps, or work your chest then biceps. that way your arms will be less fatigued. don't forget your legs because the ladies don't like chickum legs. but seriously jacking off works the best, theres exercise and theres pleasure. but olympic lifts will make you the strongest.

Always do the push-ups!!!!! They may seem OLD SCHOOL or just plain ole dumb to most but they help you out the most.

Say man, you can do all of that and then some, but if you dont add no mf weight your arms not gonna grow at all.

you wants 20's then do this

straight bar curls- 2 45's on each side of the bar

close grip bench- 225 or 315

concentration curls 50lbs dumbell

in order to build muscle you have to break it down and feed it

get you some Animal packs and some ISOPURE

The traditional jail cell workout is all you need.

Push ups

Dips

Sit-ups

Lean is better to me. You get mass and stop working out you WILL get FAT.

Met-Rx is good also.

im not knocking the traditional jail house workout,I never been to jail so I never had the chance to really find out if it actually works. But I have been to college and went through a hell of a strength and conditioning program that allowed me to get yolked up like a mf and still be able to run top speed and bring the wood to a mf on the yard, I would rather be able to get under 150 and rep it 4 sets of 10 or 12 than do 500 push ups
