When they were in their prime and got drafted they were selfish and held out because they were like I don't want to play on that team(average good guy)even though their skill set would have matched perfectly with this team(good guy). I was on the phone reading turds post to a female friend who usually keeps it real this was the reply....

If you were looking for a job, an employer would be very interested in what you had been doing in the past 10 years. This is not all that different.

When I was in my 30s, the single guys my age, had a good answer. They had invested a lot in their education followed by years of struggle, in what was then a bad economy, to get established.

At that time, very few single women of that age were of a similar background, but I imagine that this has changed somewhat. For the rest this creates problems.

Women assumed that men were too picky but there is often little in common between these groups. The field has also been picked over. I noted this when I regularly saw women who had it together but were not that good looking who had married men in top careers. Its not just a meat market - men want stability and a lack of baggage too.

Its easy to miss opportunities for marriage when you are busy with education and career and have little money. But those with other problems, addictions, nueroses and sky high expectations WILL get overlooked in their 20s. By the time a guy is in his thirties, he's experienced and wary. He's spent nearly half his life getting to this point and it can all be lost through a bad decision.

Finally, the women with kids should realize that men have had too many bad experiences with this for them to be anything more than extremely careful. Besides, do they have much in common with these women? I can't imagine this is likely.

I agree with what you say. A big problem is that women have been told many lies by our culture, including: "you can have it all!" You really can't. They are also told that they will always be hot and desired, that 40 is the new 30, aside from the plumbing men and women are the same, etc..

Just not true and sadly many women are getting caught by this. Many do not understand that younger women are, on average, more desirable to men than older ones.

Read some of the "I'm so fabulous so why can't I attract a worthy man" articles out there to get some ideas. They are typically from the P.O.V of a woman in her mid 30's who spent her time building her career, having fun, and traveling only to find herself alone and childless around 35. She realizes that her time is running short and he MUST get married and MUST have kids but ONLY to a man as "fabulous" as her.

Shouldn't be a problem right? She never had trouble finding a man before, right? Of course the men she had no problem finding were for sex and dating, not the deep commitment of marriage and children. Also, since she demands a mate equal to her "status" as a "fabulous woman", she must have a man as worldy, educated, well traveled, high income earning, suave, tall, etc...

We are not talking about good women. We all are mature enough to understand that there are plenty of good women in this world. We are talking about a certain group of females. Good women don't go around shouting "There are no good black men" The group of females we are talking about does all the time.

I try to explain to chicks so much its crazy.

Look at Tiger Woods, Eric Benet, the NBA, NFL, etc. These dudes could have any woman. Do they pick the MBA graduate? Do they pick the VP of Marketing? No. Dudes want two things
1) Look good
2) Act right

Everything else is secondary. Dudes that have a choice choose a big butt and a smile. EVERY FUCKING TIME.

Chicks can trick a dude into marriage real easy when they are young. I would have fell for it myself. But when a chick gets around 30, it starts to go downhill. For dudes at 30, life is still going up. Its sad and its unfair. Get smart or become a statistic.

1) Look good
We have no control over how we look. We can look the best we can with what we have but at the end of the day a shitty attitude will wipe out any gains in this dept

2) Act right
A can of worms.
Simple words, complex statement.
We all need someone compatible. How one woman acts that suits you might be incompatible with my needs.
e.g. some of you might place a priority on cooking etc while I place a priority on knowledge of self. The cooking shit I can do for myself but passing on knowledge to my kids is my numero uno priority.



In other cultures women who are in there 30's are physically fit and toned, possess some worldly knowledge and has a solid head on her shoulder.

Also, in America the lifestyle has women crashing hard at 30 years old.
Between the diet, lack of exercise and stressors that exists, their bodies tend to start falling apart earlier.........
If they live in a major city it is worse.
For those in NYC (BX, BK, Harlem etc) how many women do you see in the gym regularly? Those who are there are already trying some body reconstruction after the crash.

Another thing is this sexual liberation by women.

You can screw who you want but don't expect men to pay full price with 100 000 miles on your odometer!

You shine up the car (reconstruct your body)
Stop driving it (stop having sex before marriage)
Hire a salesman (start going to church)
And want full price even though the odometer has 100 000 miles on it.
