Whovians!!!

I don't like how they are portraying the black guy having him boss Clara around and giving her ultimatums that he will leave her if she doesn't do as he say, not to mention dude seems to have some ptsd symptoms

this season has been plain boring to me....

yeah I'm not pleased.

I remember I hated Matt Smith and in the end he was good and I thought owned the role.

They messed up with WAY TOO MUCH Rory and Amy Pond.

So I'm gonna give them some time cause I think the older hardened reflective Doctor much have some meaning especially since River Song is dying this season if we go by what she said during her FIRST appearance.

honestly that whole story line to me was a clusterf*ck to begin with...

And I can't understand what the hell they're saying half the time.

Normally, I can understand what Brits\Scots\Irish are saying without a problem, but throw in the fast paced dialogue with mumbling and I'm....

 the accents aren't that bad. River Song is dead kinda, her conscience still lives in the library until the Doctor can save her. All the other times we saw her after that episode was a earlier time version of her before she went to the library

I grew to really like Rory and wished they had more missions/episodes with Rory being a badass. Now Amy, she was cool but they made her character easy to be annoyed with. With regard to River, yes that was confusing but manageable. I had to rematch a bunch of episodes.

I haven't seen this season yet but I will start to catch up soon.

I agree with Clara, he went way too far with that condescending bs while they were in dire straits.

Then, Doctor Misery had the nerve to try and lie his way out and she called his ass out on that.

yeah he isn't bad but the Clara story line is :puke: and I'm so tired of that insecure controlling boyfriend getting mad that his girlfriend wants to go on a time machine and go where no other human has gone before.

I'm on the fence about this upcoming season finale. And I wasn't even suprise about that missy mistress thing :smh:

You got a point but realistically speaking, that's to be expected in that kinda situation.

This season's been entertaining to me. Only thing is, are they gonna explain how missy/master got out of that conundrum from the end of time episode,or are they gonna ignore that completely?

Didn't the 10th doctor burn his body? Am I forgetting a story arc after that?

He did but remember that he (The Master) transferred his mind to that ring. Remember some lady had that ring at the end of that episode?

so Time lords had all this advanced technology yet the Doctor use to sleep in a barn wtf yo, I'm guessing it must have been only the upper echelon who had access to all this advance tech. What I hate about this series is they probably will never end it, and when Mofat is done with the show he is going to leave it open ended with all of the questions unanswered

 I mean they did tell him bring his ass in the house. That's where he wanted to sleep.
I really think another point of that scene was to give the barn in the anniversary special meaning.

Freema Agyeman. Listen, that woman is so beautiful. It makes NO sense. :o

Agreed

didnt she already die in the library?

The doctor's first encounter with her in the library was her last. Her first encounter with him was to be HIS last (I don't think that was showed though). The last time we saw her it was just her consciousness.

I...didn't see it coming...I thought it would be some over the head reference...Makes me wonder if she had something to do with the clockwork thing at the beginning of the season. Dude was a robot, so he didn't technically have a body to put in a Cyberman. I'm pumped for next week.

I have tried to give this some room. Like someone said earlier they didn't like 11th but he grew on him. I thought 11 was gonna be evil looking at the promo posters! 12/13 is doing his thing...and I can't be bad at how they are portraying him. I am however upset that we still can't get the feisty Clara from her future incarnation trapped in the dalek. I want that feisty thing...but I guess people would draw too much companion to Amy...but that is what the public wants. Still not satisfied with her impossible story line either.

However

I do look forward to seeing Clara and Danny both as companions. I hope that happens.

As far as the show itself, the hints were few (unless you put together the missy-master thing) and the pacing had more to do with the doctor and clara than the answer in the finale. That said, maybe it would be best to go back to the old way of doing a series, two to four episodes on a single story, maybe three or four stories in a season - boom. Because they haven't given us what we should have gotten in clara the show is lacking it's Rose, its Martha, its Donna, its Amy and Rory. It's lacking that dynamic character that you care about. She can hang with the doctor like the rest, no doubt. But because we will still be longing for this other clara we have no real attachment to her. Other than her actually getting with Danny I could care less about my attachment to the character. Not saying clara in this incarnation is a bad character, but the writers had to know what they were doing in not picking up that element from the previous episode with the 11th. They had the chance to in the christmas special year before last, but failed giving us the clara we have now.

fix this tidbit and we golden.

I agree. It's like the last couple of companions just get in with him and go and Clara is just determined to have a regular life on top of that. :smh: guess I'm just not used to that :dunno:

But we all know that you can't be a companion AND have a regular life. The Ponds I think knew this and was able to travel together...it wasn't until Rory got sent back to the 20's that it became impossible in that instance to continue traveling without each other. I mean at least Amy and Rory was able to live and die together.

It's almost as if she wants her cake and wants to eat it too. But I don't know if she can. I doubt she will die with Danny, but I want to be open to Danny coming back to life. He has a consciousness and a body that is still intact. This last episode is basically telling the world that there is no real 'death', only what Mistress envisions. That said, thinking about the rumors of Coleman that came out around the beginning of the season, I would not be surprised if her body is destroyed somehow and her consciousness put in another. Maybe Danny's body? Maybe Danny will have to adjust his love for Clara as she had to do switching form 11 to 12/13's body...that can create a dilemma for next season as Danny tries to struggle if she is the same Clara or a different woman...if this does happen I wouldn't be surprised if they both leave the show loved up on another planet somewhere when that time comes.

To me it looked like trying to go back and have that regular life is what almost tore the ponds marriage apart.

I think they're gonna try and find some way to justify putting Danny's conscious back in his body. only because they threw in that part about the conscious still feeling what the body feels. Either that or go the same route they did last time and just undo the year :hmm:

remember the end of time christmas/new year special? that was when they transitioned from the 10th to the 11th doctor at the end.

I think they are. Danny will be Danny. It's Clara I'm not so sure about.

all the talk about Clara and it seems all have forgotten how she came to be scattered through out the Doctor's timeline, her multiple appearances and deaths have all been explained. This is a continuance of that not a foreshadowing, I do agree it's pretty unclear how Danny's death/rebirth will affect her, The Master/Mistress was a total surprise since his last incarnation ended with him siding with the Doctor. I'm just waiting for next week.

it was explained but i was not convinced.

think back to the beginning of the season: if missy has been collecting souls for YEARS she should have seen the reincarnations of clara (might even be a few souls of hers there too) and therefore would have no reason to call her impossible in the paper ad. but then again she/he is crazy so...

I think when the Doctor jumped in his time stream after her that undid all that impossible girl stuff because he brought her back.

Hmmm...that still doesn't explain the newspaper ad in 19th century London. Why would Missy continue to hold on to a title that would no longer be needed?

I don't really have a problem with Clara, I'm just not satisfied with her explanation. I think there is still a chance to capitalize on this element.
