I hated that movie because it was an obvious propaganda piece. The Persians (Black, deformed ugly) were the evil ones while the Spartans ( white, normal looking) were the heroes. Persia is the old name for Iran. And the king of the Persians was a gigantic Black effeminate drag queen looking muhfucka.

Since at the time, the U. S. was having tensions with Iran, I saw it as some thinly-veiled xenophobic, racist, right wing, imperialist propaganda shit.

A couple of years ago, I found out that many others read it as I did.

Can't even say if the movie is as awful as I remember it being, but I was on a overnight flight from Seattle to NJ, the plane was full, my neck and back were hurting (and my head was hurting from the sore neck) and my seat was stuck in the upright position. The back and neck pain prevented me from sleeping so I figured I would watch to pass time.

All I remember is that it was the loudest flick I ever saw....explosions every other minute and 75% of the dialog was people shouting at each other. I honestly considered jumping to my death over middle America.

I actually remember liking the rundown. It wasn't that bad. Rosario Dawson was in it too and I swear this woman is the most flexible Latina ever. I think she's played every type of Latin female. She sexy though

I have a long joke about this movie. I’m going to make this short.. this whole movie was literally created to get this broad naked in it. They didn’t have a script, didn’t care for a real plot, didn’t even care for words(there’s damn near 20 mins where not a fucking word is spoken).. some producer wanted the chick naked and this “movie” was pushed to her and she accepted the role.. when you watch it you gonna see this had nothing to do with actually making a film but convincing a broad to get naked and using a film as the excuse...would literally be the top 3 worst movies ever if the nakedness was not in it

Atomic blonde


A kick-ass female spy can typically be a good movie if it's done right. This shit here was boring as fuck.

Halfway through I couldn't take anymore and I left and snuck into the movie Detroit. Even though that movie left me with a super duper fuck the police feeling in my gut I still enjoyed that movie far more than I did Atomic blonde

Because it was a black movie, and I typically support black movies but I snuck into this one, I meant to leave out of the theater and buy a ticket to support it (the past few years I buy a matinee ticket for any Black movie, even if I don't go in or if I hear bad reviews, I support it). Unfortunately that was the last showing of the day
