There’s one piece of information that’s important to cats trying to lose weight. This is something I think people overlook cause it seems so small but they’re so major!

Cut out on or at least cut back on all SAUCES!!! I’ve been doing research on the calories in sauces and I’ve seen anywhere from 60 to almost 200 calories per service. Use sauces that have low to no calories!

I think many people overlook sauces cause they’re so focused on cutting out foods from their diet. Sauces are sneaky calories we gotta be aware of and people wonder why the scale won’t go down or keeps going up!

Also, be cautious of the butter, milk products and substitute milk products as well. They’re sneaky calories too.
Man I was using Garlic Chilli Crisp on my foods for more flavor and it was full of calories!

These sauces taste so damn good that we put so much of it on our food not knowing how high in calories they are. Sauces I think so many people may even not be conscious of them!

Shit, I’ve cut out junk food, high carb foods, sugary drinks, reduced the chicken, bread, rice etc., from 3 pieces to 2 pieces, etc. and was wondering while I was struggling losing weight!

Buy a walking pad. Less than $150. I wake before my alarm and get a 30 min walk in before work. I started 1 week ago and have transitioned to walking while fasting til noon. Now I've added a weighted vest while walking at 2.6mph.

Which vest did you get and how many pounds?

I’m looking at getting one. Tired of putting plates on my back for weighted push ups.

Any of you ever try a weighted vest for running?

I used to put ten pound ankle weights on my arms when I ran but that's not good for your back.

Yall doing cardio before or after lifting?
I’ve switched it up but now I do jump rope on my leg days as a warm up and run on my upper body days but it’s always after

cardio before weights for me
because if i do weights first i do not have the motivation to do cardio afterwards

the studies say that weights first is better for burning fat and weight loss though

During my peak / most consistent gym years I would walk to the gym and do cardio (primarily stat bike - intervals / hills) then do free weights and resistance work.

Cardio got that sweat going good prior to lifting.

Went back to the gym a few weeks back. Yesterday I scanned the room looking for a seated bench in between sets, and all used and all of them on their phones. Finish my set look again to go grab a bench, cats still on their phones. Next set, glance across still on their phones. I don't think these fools did one set while I just knocked out 3 with rest. I said I'm good I'm sore anyways.

Thought about Debo'ng a bench but had to remind myself you are at the YMCA.

I saw this a few weeks back on the lat pull down machine...I just asked dude..are you still using this? And he was like I got one moe set...he finished and moved on..sometimes you gotta step to cats and just ask if you can work in with them or ask if they are finished...99.9% people are cool about it

It's funny that you two mentioned this.

A couple of weeks ago I was at the gym, one guy was using the machine and another guy approached him asking how long he was be on the machine...

I think. I said I think because I didn't hear the conversation because I had on headphones. I don't know what his answer was but then he asked could he workout in between his sets with him.

He said No :roflmao:

Then he proceeded to sit on the machine talking on his phone, and not workout...

Dude blew a fucking gasket!

He jumped up in his face saying muthafucka probably 20 or more times, telling him that he'd beat his ass. That he'd knock him, and fuck him about 20 more times! :roflmao:

It didn't get physical just all talk but they were in each other's faces and they had to be separated.

Gym staff came and talk to both of them and that's when I heard what happened to start the issue.

And after the gym staff talked to both of them, dude sat right back on the machine and got on his phone! :roflmao:
