Northside Hospital has some openings for next week, as does in few spots in Macon.
I've been checking northside. Everytime I see the opening, no times come up. I'll keep checking everyday.
It's a drive, but keep Macon in mind.

The main reason flu shots are annual is that they are manufactured to respond to specific strains of the flu virus, and those strains vary from season to season. So far as I know, they think there is a chance that this disease may follow a similar model.
If you want to blame somebody, then blame all the knuckleheads out here "living their lives" and spreading the thing, which is probably helping it mutate.
I don't want to be taking bonus shots or anything, but if it decreases the chances of getting something nasty, I'll stick with that over just rolling the dice on catching it. Especially since you know we ain't closing shit down again for anything.

Honestly, living healthy is always a good idea, anyway. It's not even like my immune system is garbage or anything. But I have to be around people to do my job, and that means I technically have to be around all of their people and all of their choices. So I decided to get a little extra protection from things.

This isn't necessarily true. We did have to sign a form acknowledging that the vaccine wsa authorized for emergency use but not approved for general purposes (or something to that effect). The short version of it was you were acknowledging that there might be some ill effects, and that they aren't responsible for each and every one of them.
But that might depend on which vaccine you get and who is administering it.

They give you literature explaining what the vaccine is and about Emergency use authorization. But nothing like a waiver or anything like that. I guess the documents they give you covers them legally

1st dose my arm felt like it was going to fall off. It took 3 days for my arm to return to normal
2nd dose barely any pain; a slight sore arm. I was fine the next day
Those were the only side effects for me so far.
Both times the vaccination site I went to (in the heart of the city where whites dont go) were filled with whites and none of us.

My niece got hemmed up by the J&J vaccine. Fever and everything. She's only 24. I'm getting the first dose on the 22nd. I don't want it, but I work with idiots on a floating bomb 180 miles offshore. Fuck getting it from a mutated ignorant cac.
