Your argument is wack because Americans no longer control what images the world wants to see. Theres a reason the last 45 minutes of this film is set in china. Theres a reason why Bay did a close up on a box of milk that couldn't be deciphered unless you can read Chinese.

so u really think hollyweird would survive if zero americans went out to pay to see the movie, zero people bought dvd's, no payperview, no merchandise being bought..the percentages they get back from overseas sales is way less than what they get on american soil..what they gross looks nice on paper from overseas sales but what they actually get not the same..if americans blackballed hollyweird them dudes would quickly start trying to make quality movies..when people start having higher standards bizzness is forced to cooperate or face bein shutdown
I kinda equate the new Transformers with the new Madden 15 footage I saw outta E3. It looks better than Madden 25 without a doubt, and you can see some gameplay improvements here and there, but in the end it's more of the same.
I didn't care for the second Transformers movie (thought it was too long, too loud, poorly shot, and frankly boring), and I despised Transformers 3. Transformers: Age of Extinction is just a flat out a better movie than the past two. I'm not a Shia LeBouf hater, but his schtick had become annoying. Marky Mark does a stand up job in the new one as the dogged everyman -- although I didn't quite buy inventor angle, but it was a solid, likeable performance. The action with the effects and the editing are some of the best work Bay has done in a while.
It's a bit long at almost 3 hours, but it moved along pretty well. I don't think it comes close to the freshness of the original. There's nothing particularly new. All of the story and action beats are familiar, even the gags, but overall if you liked the previous Transformers movies, you'll really enjoy this one. If you thought they were some shit, then save your money.

Rock just said, all he wanted from the movie was action, explosions and robots. And that's exactly what Bay gave you. A pile of shit covered in action, explosions, and robots.

I just got back from seeing the TF and it was what i expected it to be!!..alot of action and BS in it as well!!..i'm a TF fan so that why i went to see it!!..
If this is what you expected that means the filmed lived up to your expectations. That must mean you liked it or it was a good film... If so, you're no real TF fan
Michael Bay only put the Dinobot's in this movie because hasbro forced him to do it. They needed new toys. Other than that Michael Bay really doesn't care about the franchise.

That would make sense if they didn't have cartoons and videos games that are better written and more in line with G1. This movie is made for dummies. Not new fans. This movie is the epitome of White Supremacy

If expecting a movie to make some sort of sense is considered "taking it too serieously" by audiences now, that's the reason we keep getting these shitty ass movies thrown at us and we deserve them.
I haven't seen this one but this series has been terrible.
