I discovered on probation in the late 90's but I only started lurking BGOL in 2003 when Esc0 and Darth Harlem were very active. I broke down and finally created an account in the middle of "No Lurk Wars" after BlackWallStreet disclosed how everybody was hiding all them Yousendit.com links in their posts. lol
Folks dont understand BGOL was the one stop shop for the pics scanned from the magazines to the DVD rips because the tube sites back then sucked.
Tube sites were loaded with spyware ripe for your Windows 98 and XP (aka spyware magnet) and the tube sites mainly were pics only, spamming you to some pay website.
BGOL and a few other boards were your source.

lurked for quite a bit but really became invested messing with @wise & @slam threads
its funny that @playahaitian mentioned him and reference my work cause wise's his threads inspired my spotlight threads. It no coincidence that some of the top posters here still giving props to @wise to this day

I was around back with that repeating tan background where Cherry Lee was never changed from Cumshot of the Week. I also bought VHS tapes from HNIC.
I found BGOL as I was buying tapes from Excalibur Films and BlackGirl Online was selling them cheaper 9.99 I believe. Wasn't like I was lurking on purpose, but felt I had to contribute with content and I didn't have the funds for hosting. But I would always open up my FTP server and my server would get HAMMERED from the lurkers we had back then. I remember that P2P service that we opened up for like 2 days.
