Why do people take Twitter so seriously? It's just a bunch of people sitting around waiting on something to happen so they can jump on it.
A lot of people say that
But obviously it's more than that
people have lost jobs, been arrested, committed suicide, made money and as in this case potentially jeopardized their careers off it
so we have passed the point of asking why social media has the power and influence it does....
The better questions are why are we still not better at using it for our own devices?
If JT who is far from a social media rookie had ignored this?
Crickets
But a very very cynical person would say that JT yet AGAIN got caught in an uncomfortable situation of his own making and somehow someway came out looking like the innocent white victim.
And this is coming from someone who didn't even think his intial tweet was an issue.
But we all can't act like the tweet about him being a vulture ain't true?
Cause it is.
But as usual we gonna say it wasn't the time or place for all that.
Ya'll realize there are white folks who are saying the same damn thing about Jesse speech itself?
It wasn't the time and place for all that especially on Nickelodeon? Kids don't need to hear or see all that!
Teen Nick...where they have had shows on rape, drugs, cross dressing, guns, homosexuality all before 9 pm?
But the light skin guy talking black people standing up for themselves is a danger?
