Now if this list were the top 50 rappers of all time, of course they both would be top 10.

For whatever,these websites always put them way too high. I understand there influence in early hip hop but come the fuck on when it comes to the greatest rap group of all time.

Totaly agree.

I never, NEVER could get over those whiny voices and simplistic lyrics. But their beats were hot asf. I can't remember who their producers/beat makers were but they gave them some good ones. We used to master out the vocals and loop the beats and the party be lit. I think the use of percussion along with the 808 made their beats kinda unique in the day.

I just wanna know why they have like 10 duos as groups.

Eric B & Rakim...duo.
Shitty....sorry, City Girls....duo.

Some I can make an exception for, like Salt-N-Pepa, as Spinderella did perform on at least one song.

But most of these duos do not belong on this list with groups.

And I actually don't really disagree with the top 10, sorta. I think the numbering's wrong & even though I understand why, I wouldn't had had the duos up there.
