Thor: Love and Thunder - Spoiler Alerts not necessary

The Batman was the best movie.

Wakanda Forever 2nd.

Doc Strange 3 next.

Thor doesn't even deserve last place.

The batman was good and I understand long time fans loving it but I felt it was over hyped as a classic.

Thor was not horrible but not good. However there IS a really good movie hidden in there somewhere.

Without Cat Woman, Batman would have been better
Wakanda Forever the final battle was trash
Doctor Strange, the best out of all of them
Thor was ok, it felt like a session at the psychairatrist, Thor, She Thor, and th God Butcher werre all dealing with Trauma.

I'm talking about The Batman being the best out of those 4. I'm not calling it a classic. It was really good though.

I hear you and understood your point which was/is valid.

I don't know if I agree but it would be interesting to watch all 4 again and see how they hold up.

I think @ViCiouS was correct with one point

Each of these films needed someone to come in one final time and say...

"Ok let's try to tighten all this sh*t up. Cause you got all the pieces for greatness. We just gotta make it all make sense."

Cause like I said earlier there IS a really really good movie buried in that last Thor flick.

Somewhere.

Doctor Strange just needed to take a deep breath and understand just because they can do EVERYTHING doesn't mean they should.

Yes, The Batman would have been better if the movie was focused on The Riddler rather then spending so much time on Falcone and Catwoman's friend. Catwoman herself wasn't so much the problem, it's the time spent on her entourage that was not optimal at all.

Still a really good movie.

Thor... Was not "ok". Not even close.

I actually liked MoM more then other fans did.

I think they landed the right amount of "horror".They knew what they wanted the movie to be (unlike Thor).

I think what's missing is they didn't get into the history of the Darkhold enough, some people were confused about why Wanda was going nuts.

But yes some tightening up would have been good. Also making the Illuminati look like bums was such a missed opportunity.

Multiverse of madness does have it's flaws though like Dr strange not being the focus and america Chavez being the focus instead. Then they had those dumb name jokes they e been doing for the most part of phase four " illumiwhatty? And when he .kicked black bolts name that was just god awful. I don't like how Dr strange is so snarky and arrogant. I thought his arc was to grow beyond that. It's like they took Tony stark and out him in wizard robes. I don't know much about Dr strange besides appearances in animated features is his personality really like hat in th comics? Another problem I had was the off camera rivalry with baron mordo.
Dr strange said mordo tried to kill him numerous times but we never saw that. All we got was mma fight between those two. They just tussled. We should of got an all out magician battle between those two instead we got strange vs evil multiverse strange which is a problem with plenty MCU films the Gillian is just the protagonist evil twin like yellow jacket and kilmomger etc. I can go on about Darren cross not habeing his own villian but instead marvel making him yellow jacket and modok but that's for another thread.

None of last year's movies was a classic. These comic book movies feel more like events now than actual movies. Like watching the Super Bowl or a World Cup match. Like you are hyped for it, then it happens, then it's over. Wakanda Foerever was the only one that I felt any desire to rewatch a clip of, and just clips, not the whole movie. They don't care about the story as much anymore. They just focus on the sights and sounds. Cause it's an event. It wasn't always like that, tho. They used to care about theatrical storytelling, and whenever they care, they usually end up making a classic. In my mind these are the only true comic book movie classics:

Superman 2
Tim Burton's Batman
Blade 1
X-Men 1 (I am still debating whether or not to add part 2 to this list. It is likely I will after another rewatch)
Iron Man 1
The Nolan Trilogy
Avengers 1
Black Panther 1
Avengers Endgame

I almost put The Matrix on this list for how much they ripped off that Australian comic book LoL.

The batman was good though and I come to this conclusion after watching it a year from seeingvit in the theatres . Matter of fact I enjoyed it more at home.

Whattttt no watchman, no winter soldier, no kick ass, no avengers 3 on this list

You may be right about Infinity War. I may need a rewatch on that one also.

Winter Soldier is really good, it falls just short of my list. I respect any list that has it tho. I feel the same way about Kick Ass.

I'm sorry. I just could not enjoy Watchmen, and believe me I tried many times. That's a conversation for a whole nother thread.

As for his future as Thor? Hemsworth pauses, knowing that anything he says will spawn countless headlines across every geek blog on the internet. "I've got to be careful how I word that because I have no idea what's happening in the next phase," he says. "There's always conversations, like with Extraction. Before anything is official, people are throwing around ideas. But officially, I don't know."
If he does pick up the hammer again, it'll be his 10th onscreen appearance as the character in 12 years. Thor is already the only Marvel character to get four solo movies — to say nothing of the multiple Avengers films. He loves playing the Asgardian hero, but he wants to make sure that the next chapter — if it happens — doesn't devolve into "Thor's Greatest Hits."
"I don't want to continue to do it until people are so exhausted that they roll their eyes when they see me come on the screen as that character," he says. "If an audience wants to see it, and if there's something that we believe is exciting and fun, then great. I've loved being able to reinvent that character a few times. I don't have the answer yet, but I would love to try and [figure out] how we can do that again and keep it a little unpredictable."

He should do one more appearance but only to introduce Beta Ray.

Does anyone care at this point

Bro...

You know what people calling "failures" most studios would kill for?

It's not just movies... it's streaming social media merchandise etc etc

There are literal millions who care about this, superman, spiderman, star wars...

C'mon now.

And this SPECIFIC relationship?

Hell yes.

But don't believe me just watch

Isn't Chris Hemsworth done acting.....

Did dude get some new treatment or therapy for his diagnosis?
It was bullshit to hype his disney show. He took a test that said he had genetic a predisposition for Alzheimer's. It's no different from you taking one of those genetic tests today and it says based on your family history you have a chance of getting cancer.
