God don't remind me of the latter days of WCW ppv:smh:. As for Cena having an interesting opponent there have been plenty of chances, but you know Vince and his fear of change case in point his 2 most over stars atm on the under-card. Kofi Dolph Swagger Truth & Morrison(had he gotten away from Melina)could've been main event players, but Vince will not let Cena/Orton look weak. Speaking of Orton he's a really good worker but is he not one of the most boring overrated stars in the current era? I mean i've said that HHH was overhyped but at least he was at one time one of if not the best heel in the business, but Orton hasn't been interesting since 2003 and his short heel run in 09.

Nothing in here for me to disagree with. The best thing they've done for Orton was give him guys that would make him work hard in the ring: first Punk and then Christian and then give him a big heel to bounce off in Mark Henry but the Kane feud was dull (well wrestled but boring) and he hasn't cut a good promo in forever. He'a much better wrestler than Cena and one of the better workers in the company but he's just not a good babyface to me.

Remember his face run in 04:lol: He's a great worker but the fact that he earned the nickname "Mr.Chin Lock" proved how lazy he could be in the ring.

Flair has disappeared from television and missed several TNA house shows since appearing in a Gutcheck segment on Impact Wrestling, judging Alex Silva.
Sources close to Flair and TNA have confirmed that the two sides are at a major impasse as there is a ton of heat on Flair for conduct outside the ring. It was described to me by one TNA source as, "being at the point it's not worth keeping Flair around."

There have been a number of incidents involving Flair at local establishments and bars in Orlando since coming to the company. At one point, sources indicate Flair was banned from drinking at the Hard Rock Cafe in Citiwalk due to an incident with him "acting inappropriate", according to one source, leading to venue management banishing him.

There are also stories aplenty within the company of Flair not being able to cover bar tabs and company management getting a call from the hotel and/or bar seeking payment. Most recently something similar went down at the hotel TNA utilizes for their wrestlers and staff, which the company has had a great relationship with for years, that was the final tipping point. At that point, Flair was pulled from several Louisiana house shows and the final TV Tapings before Impact Wrestling goes live on 5/31.

A similar issue led to Flair's meltdown last year on the European tour, where TNA's Craig Jenkins, after several days of fronting Flair money to cover a bar tab, refused to do so again. This led to Flair screaming at Jenkins in front of the entire crew and refusing to get on the TNA tour bus to head to the next date. Flair was left behind, missed a show and then returned to the tour the next day, apologizing to the locker room when he arrived. Publicly, Flair blamed the matter on the company not giving him "advances" like he would get when touring for WWE, citing that he was "used" to that treatment. Those comments upset people within the company because of the perception that the company "wasn't taking care of talents."

There have been a number of forces within TNA that have been against having him as a regular since he came into the company, noting that while he carries a high price tag, he hasn't translated into drawing money or ratings for the company - and now, his work in the ring isn't "Ric Flair level" anymore, but "Ric Flair level behavior" remains.

There are also some in the company that feel that Flair and WWE put them in a "no win situation" when Flair was announced for the WWE Hall of Fame, noting that the company had no choice but to allow him to go in, or else they would look like they were denying Flair and the fans. To be fair, Flair didn't know in advance he was getting inducted but he publicly told fans he would be there "on stage" before a deal was signed that would allow him to appear at Wrestlemania and the Hall of Fame.

Spike TV sources also note that there have also been a number of requests from the network end to keep Flair dressed and not have him "near nude" (i.e., in his wrestling gear) and bleeding at his age on TV.

I just read this^^^^^ and it's a damn shame. They haven't used him the best but I thought him playing "Simon Cowell" for GutCheck was perfect.
Ric is too old for this shit and needs to get his act together before he makes himself persona non grata in the thing that made him famous.

Remember his face run in 04:lol: He's a great worker but the fact that he earned the nickname "Mr.Chin Lock" proved how lazy he could be in the ring.

Yep. He's got the goods but he needs someone to work with him.

Yeah Ric is too old for this shit. His Horsemen dayzs are over.

Lilian Garcia and Justin Roberts had an argument in front of fans at last night's Over the Limit PPV after Garcia had problems with three ring introductions.

Garcia announced Sheamus' weight as 227 pounds instead of 267 pounds during the Fatal 4-Way match for the World Heavyweight Championship. She announced Hunico as Ryback's opponent just moments after Hunico said it would be Camacho wrestling. Michael Cole said he wasn't surprised by this mistake considering who said it. Garcia then mishandled the introductions for the Intercontinental Championship Match between Cody Rhodes and Christian.

Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer said on Observer Radio: "Something happened between Lilian Garcia and Justin Roberts where Lilian stormed off—live crowd could see it. And it had something to do with her botching something. It was the ring announcement of the Cody Rhodes/Christian match and they were arguing and she stormed off, I know that."

They need to fire her ass. She has been fucking up for over a decade.

I like Lillian, she had a really bad night. Considering Big Show has had a habit lately of blowing spots, this is way down on the list of things to worry about. A reprimand and maybe a demotion (let Roberts be the main announcer) are in order.

Howard Finkle will always be the best. Did he retire or did Vince retire him?

Vince retired him. He still works for the company and, from what I've seen and heard, is one of the main guys who's job it is to see what wrestling newssites are saying about their product.

You know what Flair's problem is, besides his immaturity, he never really appreciated TNA. He seems to have forgotten that it was TNA that offered him a job AFTER he burned Highspots and Ring of Honor and kept him on after he cut a fool in the UK. He did some good stuff like elevating Jay Lethal and he was the first guy to put over Bobby Roode as they built him up and he and Foley had one last really good match on Impact! but in his interviews, he would put over WWE guys and hardly mention TNA or their stars. They've parted ways with guys who have done a lot less than Flair has done and he's never seemed to appreciate it.

Maybe he trying to get back with the WWE. I hated how he burned ROH and Highspots. I thought he was better than that.

He's been trying to get back since he burned all his bridges. The fact that WWE is displaying the real NWA World title belt at Axxess shows they helped him out of the Highspots jam.

And I've got to include Greg Price's NWA Legends Fanfest. He burned them too and that was a pretty good, surefire check every summer had he not acted a monkey on Price a couple years ago, holding him up for money just minutes before he was supposed to induct long time friend and former tag partner Blackjack Mulligan into the Hall of Heroes.

If he was gonna act a damn fool, why did he live WWE in the first place. he could have been a good manager to somebody.

Watch Vince make this a top priority instead of addressing the real problems with the company, i can't stand Justin Roberts because his voice is irritating to me. People love Lillian so i doubt anything happens to her, but she does need to get on the ball i mean they have cue cards rights?

Flair is a joke now and it's sad but at some point you have to call it what it is. I said it before he gave up a 500k a year job as goodwill ambassador for the wwe because he felt like he was missing out on more money doing independent gigs, now he's ruining his name all over the world and he might wind up overdosing if he's not careful:smh:

something tells me theyll be turning this into a story angle(roberts face, lillian heel)

i guess the big show will be taking mark henry's spot since he supposedly leaving soon :dunno:

They weren't going to use him on tv or in the wrestling part anymore and wanted him to be a "goodwill ambassador" type. At the time he was red hot off his retirement and WWE was blocking him from taking some very lucrative opportunities so he left. Considering they seem to treat him with more respect when he's gone than when he's there, the door is open but Vince ain't fucking with him if he's mixed up in a bunch of nonsense.

He was missing out on some money and being in debt like he is, I got why he left. But his behavior is inexcusable. His run in TNA could have been a audition for going back to WWE but this isn't how you do it.

Not funny but it wouldn't be surprising.

He was missing out on more frequent paydays but if he had stayed with the wwe he would've been out of debt by now, He left and while he could've gotten more money he kept fucking up and only gained lawsuits:smh: In the wwe's recent of history of completely abandoning logic Big Show announced that he was hired back on Saturday which means he was a wwe employee at OTL, which also means he should've been fired for getting involved in the match since all wrestlers were barred from interfering:lol::smh::confused:

They tried to clean that up on air with "He wasn't signed Saturday, just a verbal" or whatever Cole was saying.
How do you fuck up such a simple storyline?

That's where Flair is his own worst enemy. There was a lot of money out there for him and all of it could have been gained in ways that built upon his legend, not continued to tarnish it.

I heard,I would love to see dude picked up by WWE. I honestly think he would be epic if done right but you know how that goes...

Yeah, they wouldn't do him right.:D

His old tag partner Consequences Creed is STILL stuck in development in Florida so I doubt they would do any different with Lethal.

Whenever they try to clean up an error they always look like a child caught in a lie.

Exactly. All he had to do was show up to events fulfill his obligation and get paid, yet he always does something stupid that costs him in the long run. He can still make money coming back to the wwe, but chances are he'll spend it all on another marriage/divorce:smh:

That's so sad because it's true. TNA can't possibly be paying him as much as WWE would be so why is he still running up tabs in bars that he has to know he can't cover? That's why as much as they probably love him, his friends like Arn Anderson, HBK, and HHH do not come to his rescue.

You know he will... Him and Hogan amongst others used to be cool to me. I had their action figures and shit, but I see them now and it's so depressing. They should be retired kicking their feet up somewhere. I mean there not on some Scott Hall shit but fuck...

That's why i have the utmost respect for guys like Savage Rock Jericho Foley and Stone Cold, they saved/invested wisely and they don't have to work another day of their life. Savage(RIP)was still living off his slim jim money and he still had his wcw money as well yet Hogan was saying shit like "Savage lives in misery", bitch please Hogan was just jealous because Savage did what he couldn't and that's hang it up. Last word had Austin being valued at 30mil and Foley is at 25mil i believe, and Rock just made Forbes magazine making 36mil just last year so for all the "wrestle to you die" guys they should take note.

There are a lot of great matches and moments from the Clashes. Too many to list here

but I'll try

Brad Armstrong vs Mike Rotundo for the TV title from the third one

Barry Windham attacking Dusty at the second one and dragging him up the aisle using the clawhold.

Flair vs Funk. The match was great but Gordon Solie unleashed one of the greatest quotes ever : Two word, five letters "I Quit".
The Luger attack after the Flair/Funk match.

Sting main eventing the first 4 or 5 Clashes.

Flair vs Steamboat, 2 out 3 falls, going nearly 60 minutes.

Austin vs Pillman at Clash XXV

Steamboat vs Austin for the TV title at Clash XX and then for the US title at Clash XXVIII

Steiners vs Williams and Gordy at Clash XIX

Southern Boys vs Freebirds at Clash XI

Now I'm tired

The Southern Boys

More Details on Ric Flair’s TNA Departure: Flair Reportedly Went Off Script
Posted by Larry Csonka on 05.23.2012

More on the story…

-According to a source within TNA, a major issue which lead to tension between Ric Flair and TNA was the handling of the Gut Check segment on Impact featuring Alex Silva. Flair reportedly went off script when he chose Silva as the winner, which is now causing issues for TNA for two reasons. First of all Flair went into business for himself, which has upset people. Secondly, Silva is from Quebec, requiring TNA to spend more time and money getting him a US Visa if they want to use him regularly.
