I don't care how ambitious a promotor is, they'd be a FUCKING FOOL to run anything up against Wrestlemania.
I don't care how much you think WWE sucks.

Profits and that ratings margin are literally the only two good things WWE has going for itself and that's what WWE marks are going to continue to hold on to.

But the truth is - ratings and profits do not equate to having the best wrestling product or the best wrestlers - only the best business.

And this list is not about the best business - not most viewed clips on Youtube, the most ad revenue, the biggest profit margins, etc. It's the best wrestler or the best wrestling based on an individual body of work.

And I'm not surprised he did not answer your question because there are no good answers.

There's not a better WWE tag team than the Bucks or Lucha Bros, or a better WWE match than Bucks/Lucha Bros. Roman is all gimmick and 7 moves. And Raw and SD have so much copy and paste that it defeats the purpose of watching them every week.

LOL, you do realize you need to have a good business model in order to run a promotion?
You can have all the "best" wrestlers in the world, but if your business model is shit and you can't stay in business long term it doesn't matter.
At that point it just becomes a vanity project. Look at ROH.
They had some of the "best" wrestlers in the world come through their promotion and now they're out of business.

And no, I don't consider The Bucks or Luch Bros the best tag teams in the world.
Doing a bunch of flips and overly choreographed moves doesn't automatically make you the best in the world.
I'd say right now FTR is the best tag team in the world, but AEW seems hell bent on burying them since they arrived.
I guess The Bucks feel the need to bury any one they deem as a threat. LOL

I never considered Dusty's gimmick to be that of trailer park trash. Hell, in NWA he was wearing fur coats while cutting promos.

Duh.

ROH went out of business the same reason the XFL went out of business - COVID-19.

But to have a successful company does not mean you have to be the biggest out of your competitors.

Tony Khan and Vince McMahon are billionaires and run multiple multi-million dollar companies, I'm pretty sure they understand the basic concept of having a company be self-sustaining and profitable, therefore I will let them worry about the logistics.

We talking about quality of the product from the perspective of a customer. I am a customer, I do not make a dime off any of these companies, therefore I don't give a shit about logistics. But every time we talk about WWE's lack of quality, we end up here.
 
Jay White/Trent Beretta: Banger match. Love the way Jay wrestles. He's vicious, methodical and arrogant. Everything he does looks good from his offense to his selling. I don't know how long he's signed with New Japan but the moment he becomes a free agent Tony needs to sign him. One of the rare wrestlers who's beaten both Okada and Omega. Instant main eventer.

I can see Jade vs Raquel Gonzalez. Wardrobe looks big in AEW but will come across small In a WWE ring. I would pay to see a MJF vs Miz feud

We'll see what he can do outside of WWE. Weren't people saying the same thing about Matt Hardy when he left WWE for AEW?

I feel like we've seen the Hardy Boyz reunion a million times already. It gets a pop when it first happens and then eventually fizzles over time.

Dusty Rhodes had charisma. When Dustin made his debut in the early 90's I liked his wrestling the fact that he would stop and drop to his knees and then punch his opponent after running off the ropes I thought and still think is an amazing move. Cody Rhodes in my opinion has no charisma at all and I'm just amazed that he found a woman who has even less charisma than he does.

I mean......she basically no sold both finishers then hit hers. It kinda doesn't look right. You know she's not gonna lose but sheesh. Do finishers mean anything anymore??
