Cody and Brandi shot themselves in the foot with their constant bad segments.

I knew that money was involved as well..He want more money but Tony Khan wasn't not going to give it to him..Also, Cody wasn't popular like that in AEW..Him and Brandi was getting booed anytime they come out...Also, they brought in new and fan favs in AEW..so Cody and Brandi didn't have a chance to get more money and a new Contract from AEW....

Also, I heard a rumor that Jeff Hardy might be coming to AEW!!.. ..If so, Can't wait!!

Jeff Hardy needs to go to rehab (again) and fix his life, not AEW or any other promotion.

I understand how cats believe that Vince is gonna be petty, but remember, Cody left on good terms. He bet on himself and did what we wanted to do.

Vince has been known to respect wrestlers who have shown a backbone. There are numerous stories of him not respecting people who he sees as weak.

He's also been known to work with and actually put people who have competed with him in good positions, hell look at Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff.

I see Vince treating Cody totally different. Cody will be treated as a big deal, because Cody is a "prize" from the company Vince doesn't see as competition.

Turns out that Jeff Hardy was prematurely released before the actual drug test came back. Once it did, it turns out that he was actually clean. WWE wanted him to come back but he declined.

Yeah, I heard the same thing...WWE came back with another Contract for him and he turn it down!!...WWE really wanted to keep him but I guess he said Fuck yall..I'm out!!..

Yep, I think He's coming to AEW!!...:yes::yes:

Ok Cody goes back to WWE where his legendary father was given a polka dot outfit and largely a joke, his brother was given a borderline gay character and as a reward for getting popular and got the fans on his side in that elimination chamber match, instead of pushing him they made him Stardust.......Question is Vince letting him go over Roman? Nope. How bout Brock? Nope. So wtf is the point?

The drug test was before or after he walked out during the house show?

After.

They drug tested him and told him he needed to go to a rehab program.

Jeff said no because he knew he wasn't on drugs and asked for his test results. They released him.

When the test came back, it was negative. So WWE tried to make up for it by giving him his job back and offering him a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame, but it would just be him by himself, not Matt because he's signed to AEW.

Jeff was like "nah", he wanted to go in there with his brother, it's Hardy Boys or nothing, and turned down everything.

All he wanted was his test results back so he can clear his name, and WWE withheld his test results for weeks because they didn't want the truth to come out - that they prematurely fired him and the reason he walked out of that match was because he was just tired of WWE's bullshit.

So was Jeff going into the crowd a ploy all along to get released? If so mission accomplished but I think it was fair on WWE to be wary based on his track record.

Nah, according to Matt, it wasn't like "I'mma just start doing shit to get fired", it was more like "man, fuck this shit" like he was just over it.

So either something happened that pissed him off before the match or it was just general low morale.

I done walked out of jobs too because of low morale. Like "I need to leave right now before I blow up and do something crazy that I can't come back from."

I feel like he had that same moment when he tagged out and looked at the ceiling.

Apparently during the main event of the indy "Warrior Pro Wrestling" show last night between Athena and Thunder Rosa some fans were being really disrespectful; saying a lot of sexist and racist shit. A shame too because it was a great match.

I watched this. Great match.

Good luck to him in AEW joining his brother. Matt's been a flop in AEW so far. Maybe another Hardy Boyz reunion bring Matt out of mediocrity.
Hardys vs Young Bucks writes itself

Matt is too banged up to put on a decent Bucks match! That would be too hard to watch with that Transformer-like way he gets up off the ground!

I honestly don't want JR back. His entire time in AEW has been lukewarm at best and even that's being generous. The old man doesn't have it anymore. I rather they put Taz in his spot or better yet Don Callis.

JR is old and has lost a step, but I'd take him over Callis or Excalibur.

I think JR's style and AEW just don't mesh well.

I think JR's style doesn't mesh well with modern wrestling period. Everything today is more fast paced, spotfest driven. JR comes from a time when things were slowed down and methodical. Ring psychology was emphasized more which in turn allowed you as a commentator time to craft a interesting story. Nowdays the action goes at 100 mph and JR simply can't keep up. This is where Excalibur picks up the slack. He knows the moves and how to keep up with the flow of the match. I like Callis because he's great at color commentary. His commentary work for New Japan was excellent.

With that said Tony will probably keep JR around because although he sucks at commentary he does have a wealth of wrestling knowledge.
