NO MEAT MY NIGGAS ....NO MEAT.... YOU DON'T NEED IT

 yes sir no doubt ....I know 2 people who recently had strokes... a female who is 29 and man who was 57

Keep up the good work Bro.

Don't have weight issues or any health issues but I appreciate people living healthy.

Normally I eat kale & chard steamed every other day, carrots and hummus for snack, some grain, oat & banana for breakfast, light dinner.

My motto is: easy to grow, hard to go

So I don't make it grow

the green lemonade... taste a little better than the mean green drink

3-4 kale leaves

2 green apples

1 whole lemon peel included

1/2 cucumber

2 small handfuls on spinach

thats juicing stuff looks like it takes alot of work, kudos to yall tho

Yeah... big respect to DatDudeDere and all of you taking steps to improve your health buuuuut I wonder how valuable juicing is relative to blending?

I already eat very well and workout etc the whole 9.... I'm always open to improving though. From a health standpoint what makes juicing superior to blending? I drink a couple of blended fruit-vegetable mixtures separate from my post work-out protein.

What sold yall on the juicing?

juicing vs blending comes down to soluble fiber vs insoluble fiber... blending keeps the insoluble fibers that help you shit and keep the colon clean juicing removes the insoluble fibers that is why some people complain of constipation when they first start juicing.

to me the only working difference between the two is the juicer involves a lot more clean up than the blender. got to break that bitch down and then scrub the mesh so mold and shit wont grown

sharkbait, in addition to what doggish said another advantage of juicing is higher absorption rate of nutrients into the bloodstream (critics would argue that this also gives a faster absorption rate of fruit sugars which MAY be problematic for diabetics under some circumstances).

Juicing is not superior to blending... To me both are equally important ... Certain fruits don't work well in a juicer..... Banana, strawberries, blue berries raspberries all are better to blend.... And I blend as much as I juice too......jucing is for hard fruits and veggies you trying to extract juice from to enter your blood stream and get digested faster

Appreciate the insight brothers. Thanks.

I like the idea of absorbing nutrients a little better but I'm not sure it's worthwhile switching to a more time-intensive juicing routine. I may give it a try one of these days just to see if it's worthwhile.

Makes sense. Thanks for the insight bruh.

Get a masticating juicer ... They are much easier to clean.... Much easier and quite.....BUT COST MORE

Get a masticating juicer ... They are much easier to clean.... Much easier and quite.....BUT COST MORE

only reason why i didnt go with that kind is because they are slower... as far as the noise level i got the breville ikon and it is not that noisy, i actually find it a little less noisy than my blender

about to start another no meat cleanse, got a few cookouts i want to get out of the way before i begin though so next sunday the 19th will be day 1. think i am going to go 2 weeks this time

But they're slower. So if the issue is about time then its all gonna workout to be about the same. Im dropping whole pears, 4stalks celery, 5carrots, two cukes, at a time in my breville while you slicing and dicing before juicing with your Omega. Your cleanup is faster but the time is gonna balance out about the same.

I get what you are saying about time...but let me tell you ...it's not as slow as may think...not at all.... Agree with overall time time being the same though because I do have to prep....but this damn thing grinds and juices pretty damn fast..... Plus the slower the grind or speed the more juice extracts

coming from someone that has been there... the best advice that i can give you is keep pushing yourself... even when you dont feel like doing that last set of weights or running that last quarter mile you have to keep pushing. as far as your meals go just try to eat clean all weekend and then when the weekend comes allow yourself ONEcheat meal not a cheat day just one meal and then get right back on your plan for the rest of the weekend.

the last thing that really helps me is writing your goals down and reading them everyday when you wake up and carrying them around in your wallet and reading them when you may want to grab that bag of chips from the vending machine or you're thinking about skipping the gym that day.

stop using the word "diet" too you are not on a diet diets don't work you are aiming for a "lifestyle change"

are you weighing your foods out??? using a food scale makes a big difference. What a serving is and what you think a serving is are two different worlds.

on another note i like to saute a little red onion in with my spinach and garlic

You right about the diet word cause this is a life style change for me. Im loving it.

down to 281 since original 312 on the 22 of july. Meals have stayed the same except im mixing in some wraps either tuna our turkey on a 50 calorie wrap for lunch a few times a week. Big change is, i stepped my gym game and walking/running up to push myself. doing 5miles a day now and getting down with the kettle ball added into weight routine. Feel incredible, best i been since i got out the Navy. Wifey noticed a change too  Long way to go but the shit is worth it. Next year i want to be shirtless running through the park, the women out there running is keeping me motivated.

6lbs in about a week and a half of one juice a day plus stepping up the intensity of the cardio while maintaining the duration and still lifting 45 minutes a day.

it is summertime and i have been drinking a lot of beer on the weekends lately and that is kinda slowing me down a bit.
