The Official 2025 And Beyond WNBA Season/Women's Basketball Thread

All while officially tanking....

They ain’t tanking. Their roster just sucks. It’s built badly. Plus they’ve been hit with crazy injuries. They only had 8 players going into that game. They had to sign a hardship contract to add a body.

The truth is, I don’t see it changing. Especially with that crappy coach they have.

They were built badly on purpose... To tank...

They hired a first time head coach...
Traded away all of their off season vet signings for draft picks...

The goal is in to pair her with a top 3 pick next draft and young talent that fit her skill set...

Surprised they didn't trade Arkie when they had the chance...

Let me know when anyone else in the league is guarded like she is
I've been laughing at this comment since last year because it's just not true, Caitlin Clark isn't the only player that's guarded full court, they guard her like that because she shoots from the logo, all you have to do is watch the games today and I guarantee you will see at least 10 instances of a player being guarded full court

When Paige gets the physicality she gets to go to the line

Tiffany Hayes is out for the Valkyries tonight so Fever should have a better chance at winning.

Lexi Hull looks horrible with those 2 black eyes, she should play with some goggles on:cool:

This game turned so sloppy after the first quarter, so many missed layups, so many turnovers, players falling down. Valkyries should be beating Fever by 30 if they hit all those missed wide open layups. Aliyah Boston can't play that drop the shoulder and bump you bully ball on Temi

The Valkyries have their number with or without Clark...

I think the key is Temi not letting Aliyah Boston bump her off her spot all the way the goal like Aliyah does some of the other bigs. Take that away and then add the high tempo the Valkyries play at and the Fever just can't keep up with them. The Valkyries missed so many open layups that they allowed the Fever to stay in the game but with their up tempo play they kept making plays to keep them from getting to close

Anyone else watching the Storm/Sparks game just to see how Skylar's going to act afterwards?
Win or Lose?
I almost missed it, I'm sure she wasn't happy after they let the Sparks come back from a 17 point deficit and beat them at the end of the game.. lol

Rickea and Cameron were pretty explosive in their roles last night.
But it was Dearica and Kelsey who did the most damage.

Dominique and Gabby weren't playing either.

@therealjondoe I'm from Alabama and have been comparing y'all Caitlin Clark fans to BAMA fans since last year, this is exactly how y'all act, listen to that first caller:lol:

"YOU'RE ABOUT AS POPULAR AS A BONUS TRACK ON A YOKO ONO ALBUM!"
:lol2::lol2::lol2:

I have to use that one.
Because I actually have some Yoko Ono Music in My Music Collection. LOL
That Bass Line still slams to this day.
