A crimminal record would hamper my girl from finishing her degree in nuclear medicine. She would not be able to become a doctor, much less take the United States Medical Licensing Examination.
I think I'll stick with someone that has something to lose. The next time you want to "Knock a bitch out." Think about your kids and your job if you get arrested, you could be in jail for 3 to 6 months depending on the severity of the crime. You may lose your job, get kicked out of your appartment. Department of child services may take your children. You may stand to lose alot just to prove a point to someone. I get angry too, but I would never physically harm anyone.

Dhustla, if that is the case, you should seek help immediately. There are many 1-800 lines that you can call to speak to a counselor or crisis manager in case you are truly considering those options:
1-800-SUICIDE
1-800-273-TALK
If anything, remember that just talking about the suicidal thoughts can help break you free from wanting to commit it. Also, suicide is not an EASY way out. Think of all the loved ones and those who DO care about you who you can hurt in the long run...

I don't take suicide ideation to over be a joke. Know that you are better than it and you CAN get over it.
Suicidal ideation is somewhat "normal" to consider at least ONCE in your life. Almost everyone thinks, at one time or another, "Damn, this sure would be easier if...," or, "I just don't want to deal with this anymore." But, by committing or attempting to commit suicide, you're giving away everything about your life, the good and the bad.
Some of us have to remind ourselves daily just how much GOOD we do have in our life. I try to reaffirm everyday what my worth is and how good life is. It's not about others lives, but what I've been blessed with. When you realize THAT, other things become so tedious...
I hope anyone who needs the kind of help Jo has offered about dealing with serious issues will seek it. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Folks if you need help, please go get it and get on the road to recovery...
...That being said Jo, is it really "normal" for everyone to think about suicide at least once in life? I'm 29 years old and I have never thought about that...
