sorry tical, your movie sucks. Early Batman V Superman Reviews Are Largely Negative

from the replies of people who seen this it sounds like DC did what I suspected they would do as far as appearances by Flash and Aquaman. Were they in the movie for some quick cut scene of a couple minutes or did they have major roles in the action?
10 secs movie is 6/10

The Exact Moment Ben Affleck Realized ‘Batman v Superman’ Sucks
He hasn’t felt this low since “Gigli.”

When it comes to bad action movies, we’ve all Ben there and done that. But “Batman v Superman“ was supposed to be different.

It had a great cast, and it had all the hype. Like, c’mon. This movie was supposed to kick off the beginnings of “The Justice League” franchise.

Then reviews came out, and they weren’t good.

In an interview with Yahoo, the cast was asked for their opinion on the reviews, and Ben Affleck’s blank response is genuinely just the saddest thing. And if that wasn’t enough, someone set it to Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence.”

After seeing the movie, all we can say about Affleck’s reaction is, “We agree.”

“Batman v Superman” is in theaters now.

:hmm:  it prolly will still bust the bank at the box office.

Lex is the worst super villain casting ever, I mean Jim Carrey as the riddler bad. Man DC fucked up the casting bad, they need to hire whoever cast for Netflix because Kingpin and Punisher are spot on.
Foh. Kingpin was fucking horrendous. As bad if not worse than BvS Lex.

Snyder looks real hurt in his interview too

Just re-watched MOS to get up to speed. I still rate it 2.5 out of 5. I didn't realize how bad Amy Adams is. And the chemistry between her and supes is non-existent. Now, as for SvB the senate thing is ripped off from Iron Man and I'll say again: when Darcy is hotter than Wonder Woman you've got big problems. The casting is terrible. Terrible. Henry Cavill is so stiff you can dive off him. And only a stiff like him could make it seem dudley dull Ben Affleck can act.

C'mon fam...

that was a very complex depiction of Kingpin and what made it eerie is for an over the top comic book villain like Kingpin and they made him VERY realistic.

I understand the comic legacy of the character I actually still have that whole Frank Miller run 1st print and one autographed

I understand Vincent's acting can be an acquired taste but it FIT for the first season and what they were trying to do.

You asking an audience COMPLETELY uninformed on DD to accept A LOT a blind superhero ghost ninjas radar super sense...

I think seeing this huge guy with so many damn issues really connected with a lot of people.

but I can understand not liking it...to each his own

but as along time comic fan and a fan of DD overall I thought it was a great job...a lot of his performance was straight out the comics.

You my nigga ph, you know this...

well damn...

Now THAT sounds like the Kingpin we know and love.

just got back... it's not as bad as the critics say it is..

my takeaways

the first 30-40 mins off the movie meh... the rest great. they need to fire who ever edited this movie. And it was some bad CG thrown in too.

Ben Affleck needs a batman movie stat...what people were most afraid of was the best part of the movie

wonder woman was very good.. she really pulled it off. I can't wait for her movie. and she's sexy as hell

Henry cavill still can't act...

jesse eisenberg sucked as lex, and it's a shame. Lex is should have been a suave debonair criminal mastermind with just a hint of crazy, Not cooky and campy running around in sweats and boat shoes SMH

that being said i like the movie DC is learning on the fly here...the next movie should be better.

I completely understand I know people who HATE that dude's acting...and there is NOTING I can do to change their mind.

But I'm telling you trust me...He was selected specifically for that reason, THEIR depiction of the Kingpin.

Their Kingpin is a straight from that origin of him growing up and being HARDENED by the streets...

you needed that manic depressive with extreme paranoia portrayal

that voice he used was to show how much EFFORT it was for him to just TALK to people, that there was so much FURY and ANGER beneath the surface.

that is entirety of the character.

Remember how no one and I mean NO ONE could get him angrier than Spidey...because he called him FAT.

it tapped into all his insecurities growing up and what I like is they used the its NOT fat its all muscle character in the show and Vincent pulled that off well, he was always awkward because he had to RESTRAIN himself even in his movements trying hard not to HURT anyone.

But when he could FINALLY unleash he was damn near agile.

He HATED DD because he was BLIND and suffered just like him and instead of being the KINGPIN he became a damn HERO...

it was all there, you are supposed to feel like he was a weak fractured child...but they ALLOWED you to see that, the problem with the movie is that they NEVER allowed you to see that.

the BEST villains you UNDERSTAND...sometimes sympathize with.

He was so damaged and psychology off everything he did made sense and then when he was calm and focused and truly EVIL?

It worked because it showed he was such a high functioning socio-path.

The Punisher is an extension of that there is a TON of PTSD there, the man who has to become a solider and then a man again.

The Punisher gives these long extended monologues (which these dumb ass critics complained about) because they were THERAPY sessions...

much like Kingpin with Nora.

Hate him all you want but much like Skye on Breaking Bad and to a degree Chuck on Saul the real reason you hate characters like that is because they become real and your SUPPOSED to hate them, that means they are eliciting a REAL emotion from you.

Its the characters that you don't give a damn about just indifferent about that suck.

thank you damn good spoiler free review.

I REFUSE to believe the movie is THIS bad...

however Affleck's reaction in that interview is making me LESS than optimistic.
I heard this movie was awesome.

I'm amped to see it tomorrow.

Y'all gotta understand, bgol hates EVERYTHING.

I think most folks around the net have some type of agenda for this film and I don't know why. It could have been great but Snyder and the Lex casting just cant do it.

This movie was better than Dark Knight Rises, Iron Man 2 and 3 and both the damn thor movies.

with better plot planning and less flashbacks this would be great.

The Ugly….eisenberg as Lex and his endless CAC diatribes his scenes make the movie too long and derail any type of consistency
The Bad…not really a bad, but the filmmaker tried to squeeze too many story lines in one movie: retelling the batman story, blending in the superman story, being as true as possible to the comic book versions, and introducing future movies..
The Good…good cinematography, nice touches to the story lines of batman and superman

DC All Access managed to catch up with Ben Affleck, who confirmed he's working on "something" with Geoff Johns that he's really excited about.

"Geoff Johns is a brilliant guy. I consider him to be the most valued resource on all things comic book. And every time I like something in a comic I mention, he goes, 'Oh yeah, I wrote that.' Now I just think he's bullshitting me, because he says he wrote everything. He and I are working together on something and I really am excited about it and I love him. He's the best."

We first heard about this reboot shortly after Warner Bros. screened a "near finished cut" of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice for the film's crew and studio executives, which was reportedly met with a standing ovation once the credits rolled. This report claims the studio was so impressed with Ben Affleck's performance that they are working out an extended deal with the actor that would lock him in as Batman "for the next 10 years or so." Studio executives reportedly consider the actor as "the definitive Batman," and plan on centering their entire DC movie universe around his character. During a press conference for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Ben Affleck was asked if he'd ever consider directing a DC movie. He didn't specifically mention the Untitled Batman Reboot, though he did talk about how much he learned from director Zack Snyder and writer Chris Terrio.
