Sooo.....I made the switch to the S3...

I've still loving it, and each day I am finding out something new.

Yesterday I found a frustration and that was my call log or trying to change it, my call and texts are all in that log and I don't like retaining info, I'm a deleting person, and it only deletes that current message or call, and not that whole string from that person. So I'm looking into my settings.

But other than that I am loving it. This phone is so liberating and it's so much funner it's like it was designed for ME to make it to my liking, and when I say that, I mean you can't come pick my phone and do the same exact thing you can in your phone....you can, but there is some difference to it.

I have no regrets. I'm thrilled that I made the changed. We're waiting on you.

from the recent calls . hit the menu button lower left and select delete.

the delete window comes up and select all then delete and your recent calls are deleted

same thing with texts..

click messaging then the menu button delete select all and delete and all texts threads are deleted..

How come when someone text me a pic instead of the pic automatically showing all I get is a text and a download box that I have to click to download. Itll say downloading for a few then it changes back to download and my pic still hasnt showed yet sometimes ill have to press download 3 or 4 times then It'll randomly show the picture later on in the day whenever it feels like it, is there a way for the pic to show up instantly instead of me having to do all the extra stuff

Question.... So earlier tonight I was emailing my boss from my phone to give her an update from my hospital visit, and then I got on my laptop and and came on the board, well I got malware alert from the Da Don thread and another one about someone's wife need to go to the gym, so I scan my laptop and talk noise on here from my phone, and thinking all is cool because I didn't get any alerts from look out (phone anti virus) . Fast forward I wake up because of noisey nurses, etc and see an email from my boss but I can't open it because it's none of my emails are loading... now I'm nervous. I changed ALL my passwords but still can't get into my yahoo account (its saying wrong password on phone) but correct on laptop just can't get in in box and my Gmail isn't updating either. Any ideas???

I'm buying Cerebus but it's saying Anti¬theft, is that one in the same as the anti virus? I just hate to get an email she tell me it was some porn because I promise I'm going to name the hospital. Keep in mind I sent the email from my phone but the laptop told me of the issues and hours later I'm having email issues.

Did you change your password for your yahoo account after you had it configured on your phone? you may want to delete your account on your device and re-try with your new password. For Gmail, check in the main settings under your accounts, choose google, then tap your email address and some options should come up as to specific things attached to gmail to sync. Make sure 'sync Gmail' is one checked. Cerebus, I believe is strictly anti-theft software to locate your device, not anti virus / malware.

probably just have to make sure you have a data connection and make sure everything is syncing properly. Do what J Bizzle said. Oh, and get rid of that Yahoo account. Yahoo is nothing but spam. Pretty soon, people in your address book will start to receive spam messages from you

You will have to check your settings in your messaging app. open messaging- press the menu button- choose settings- then go down to mms settings and make sure 'Auto-Retrieve' is checked. There are also options to restrict when you roam as well.

I used to use Lookout. I didnt really try avast that much. Lookout would scan everything that came in to your device.

Yeah, there are dozens of apps that hide, encrypt, and/or lock things on your phone. In fact, if you do it right you won't even have to lock your phone completely which may arouse suspicion. Tell him to use SMSGo to assign certain contacts and texts to automatically be private and to use Hide it pro to hide pics and videos.

Very pleased with this phone, I got my allshare working right with pc and laptop, now all i need is allshare on my tv so i can put this camera to work. Alot of issues people have in here has to do with "settings". Any issues i've had i just went to google or found the settings for it and all was good

When I loaded my iphone up I never experienced such a drastic stunt in speed. Like I said the phone was gorgeous, but the OS is not up to speed with iOS especially for business needs. I would never drop the iPhone for this one again. Once it drops to 99$ might add it as an extra line later for the little one.

I gotta agree with other. I have the HTC One S that doesn't have as much internal memory as the GS3 and I've never had any slowdown in performance.

Does it do that everytime you get a texted pic? From everyone? I've had that happen before with texted pics on every phone i've had but not everytime. If so i don't know what to tell you because when i get text on my S3 i just touch the pic and it shows on the screen, now if i press and hold on the pic a list comes up that includes "save attachment"

go to the deals section and there is one that Peerless Mack place there where the case is a penny and you pay for shipping.

I ordered my speck from a seller at amazon when I first got the phone, still have not gotten it, so I contacted the seller, and he said he would send me another, still hadn't gotten it, he said he would send me another if I remove the negative review, I told him I will not because consumers need to know the truth, so Amazon stated they would refund my money for me and work with the seller.

So I went ahead and ordered from the company PLM posted.
