Sooo.....I made the switch to the S3...

It is not Samsung that is lowering the price of the phone. It is the network providers. By offering a good “deals" on phones it's a way to get more people to sign up for on their plans of two years. We end up paying more than what these phones are worth in two years anyway.

Oh Ok but we have the S voice that does pretty good right now too. We'll I'm excited either way.

I'll tell you what was cool. I used my galaxy s voice (siri) for directions so I choose to use to Navigation instead of AT&T and when I reached my destination, a picture of the street appeared as I was driving.

I had att navigation and not saying other navigation systems don't do this but it was new TO ME!

Google Voice is much faster then S-Voice though. I think with this new update coming, we will have both installed so we can choose which one we like most. Check this.

Ok so yesterday was a very crappy day for me, which has carried over to today so I took a PTO day and my husband knows simple things make me smile. So he went got me a bagel before he left for work a min ago and now yall are showing me all this other stuff.

£308? This is to buy the device outright without a contract? Contracts are popular in the U.S. $149 at Best Buy is with a 2 year agreement with a carrier.

I make my own ringtones just like cli-terminator mentioned.

Anyone trying extended batteries yet? I was going to get mugen but 100 for a battery ain't happening. Maybe get the hyperion joint.

If I'm understanding the question correctly I have Extended Battery Life app and it's Ok. It's what the guys here told me to get early on.

he means an extended battery, and additional battery for the phone. a replacement with longer life.

I've still loving it, and each day I am finding out something new.

Yesterday I found a frustration and that was my call log or trying to change it, my call and texts are all in that log and I don't like retaining info, I'm a deleting person, and it only deletes that current message or call, and not that whole string from that person. So I'm looking into my settings.

But other than that I am loving it. This phone is so liberating and it's so much funner it's like it was designed for ME to make it to my liking, and when I say that, I mean you can't come pick my phone and do the same exact thing you can in your phone....you can, but there is some difference to it.

I have no regrets. I'm thrilled that I made the changed. We're waiting on you.

Well I have kinda joined partially by buying my little ones the 7" Samsung Galaxy Tabs :hmm:

As for upgrading my phone, no time soon. The worst thing now is my ties to iMessage (have a bunch of folks on iPhones and not having to worry about texting has been a blessing) and if I switch, I guess I'll have to just switch back to using GoogleVoice or something or whatever y'all currently use.

Just heads up for those looking for extended batteries some lack the NFC chip, which means you wont be able to use the NFC feature that the SGIII offers, make sure those batteries you are buying support NFC if you mainly use it. Another option is a battery bank small compact and some provide rapid charging of up to three devices at the same time.
Coco if you root that SGIII and install a Jelly Bean custom ROM trust me you will gain full control of the device and battery life will be a bit better.

My phone has been stealing people information lol. I got a lot of shit transfered from ms active sync from unknown sources. Emails and contacts containing personal information.

Oh I activated the Power save option. It really help my battery life by about 20 / 30 %. Turn down my brightness too. Been off day charger 10hrs now and been playing music and Pandora... surfing data web all day. 44% remaining right now. :)

Yeah mine was getting people information too, I was only able to see pictures though. never really looked to see if I was getting more info.
 
Just downloaded utorrent for android from Google play. Works like a charm. My uses for my laptop is becoming rather slim. :dance:

Downloaded weezy ded 4 in under a minute over 4G. :)

I guess if I go near laptops or devices with sharing/sync enabled, my phone would pick it up. I disabled sync since then, afraid of my personal items getting out there by accident.

Question.... So earlier tonight I was emailing my boss from my phone to give her an update from my hospital visit, and then I got on my laptop and and came on the board, well I got malware alert from the Da Don thread and another one about someone's wife need to go to the gym, so I scan my laptop and talk noise on here from my phone, and thinking all is cool because I didn't get any alerts from look out (phone anti virus) . Fast forward I wake up because of noisey nurses, etc and see an email from my boss but I can't open it because it's none of my emails are loading... now I'm nervous. I changed ALL my passwords but still can't get into my yahoo account (its saying wrong password on phone) but correct on laptop just can't get in in box and my Gmail isn't updating either. Any ideas???

I'm buying Cerebus but it's saying Anti¬theft, is that one in the same as the anti virus? I just hate to get an email she tell me it was some porn because I promise I'm going to name the hospital. Keep in mind I sent the email from my phone but the laptop told me of the issues and hours later I'm having email issues.
I think I'm going to croak of embarrassment
