Leon is the best friend we never had man.
dedicated to tonight's show
That was a real as discussion they had. Franklin needed a little wake up call and he got two, one from Leon and one from seeing the real effects of what the drugs are doing to people.
No she didn’t she was already tooting powder it was only a matter of time before she went deeperMel got turned quickly. Dem college dreams went up in smoke.
Not in a sexual way. But I really like how the show is showing how the baddest chicks, even from good families, turned out on crack.I think some of yall niggas are getting off on seeing Mel get addicted to crack.

I guess I'm the only one who found that episode to be rather sad.
I guess I'm the only one who found that episode to be rather sad.

Because as @BAG said, a lot of people didn't know what they were getting into.

Then after watchin Jerome get beat up and walk off
He just gonna walk in they house on Sunday breakfast
I would have shot that bitch nigga, kept his daughter as my rock sex slave
Then when tired of the bitch kick her out

I don't know because I was a shorty back in the 80s but I think that CIA Crack had some other chemicals in it because the crack monsters of the '90s were fucked up and this day and age they pretty fucked up, but back then that shit seemed to have a harsher edge to it. I never really seen lines bending around the corner in the '90s or in the 2000's some spots are jumping but not quite like that I'm sure that fresh new crack had a weaponized government made chemical in it besides just pure cane and baking soda
Example I had an Uncle who was a serious cluck but he held his job for 30 years was a good worker paid all his bills but spent his nights hitting the pipe but managed to stay somewhat decent
How didn't they when there were crack houses which she was inI respect your opinion but I'll say this it's 1983-84 at the time of that episode. I don't think people had the full grasp of what that drug could do to you... I think I'd be harsher on Melody if it were maybe 1989-1990 or so because by that time we know fully what crack could do.
How didn't they when there were crack houses which she was in
And she knew Wanda smoked crack
Wanda was all over the neighborhood
The police officer entire mission is cause smokers are laid out on the streets
She was doing coke
Then dude said let's smoke crack she said why not
And that was that
Damn...glad he bounced back eventuallyMy brother got hooked just like that. One day he was finishing Johns Hopkins U and a week later he was on the corner copping anything to get that rock. 8 years later, he came back.
Even with everything you said, I stand by my point that nobody in 1983-84 had a full grip on how addictive and destructive that drug was even with crackheads and crack houses around..
Because as @BAG said, a lot of people didn't know what they were getting into.
Nobody knew it would last for generations
but they absolutely had an idea this shit was bad...and not just drug bad...real bad.
You act like there was no frame of reference during that time lol heroine existed
they know what junkies looked like.
Yeah people thought it was another party drug like cocaine, but once that rock got a hold of they assthey become a slave to it.
Andre about to see Melody go full crackhead chasing that first high.
