Good start to the season
The way they were setting the story up I really thought something tragic was going to happen to Melody tonight.
They trying to make us forget about the first episode. Where the junkie got dragged by the car, after she grab for the coke. I believe that was Melody, as she got hook on drugs and messing up her college career.
Which will make her Father take it personal against Franklin!

But for me I love the way franklin and his dad interact. His dad is becoming the man he was before. Franklin is seeing it in real time and understanding what drove him to where he was.
Having to kill your family member would drive you to drink and Franklin finally got the entire thing tonight
He finally fully respects his father and understands everything that happened and in a way probably forgives him
and sees why his mother stood by him in the aftermath of just "not being any good"
love the connection drawn
Reed is suspicious of Franklin
Franklin is about to setup a plan to make sure reed can't hurt him
Meanwhile college girl is a crack head
which was the only fake part about this episode
