My short review on the compilation.

7/10

Positives:
- 50 games is probably the most Sega has put in a compilation
- The bedroom interface is pretty cool and invokes memories of being a kid in the 1990s
- Save states, filters, rewind and playing games backwards are nice additions.
- Online Play

Negatives:
- It's another compilation, Sega has been releasing them for 25 years.
- Sonic 3 is missing presumably due to Michael Jackson's estate
- Probably one of your personal favorites is missing also, that's the unfortunate side effect of pre-made compilations.
- There are some technical issues with games including slowdown, which should NOT be an issue because these games are being played on hardware that is 100x more powerful than the Genesis was.

Sega has been releasing compilations since the final days of the Genesis era and it's almost expected for Sega regularly try to cash in on their beloved Genesis/Mega Drive era by releasing a compilation.

I only recommend this if
- The game list REALLY interests you
- You want your classic games on your PS4/XBOne
- You don't understand or care to use emulators

Otherwise head over to this thread LaunchBox - Review and Setup Guide! and ask around. If you don't care about playing these games on original hardware, nothing beats emulators, most emulators today are very accurate to the original hardware, slow down and frame drops are typically not an issue.
Filters, save states and rewind features have been around for years and licensing issues don't exist, you can play all of your faves.

Meh remake streets of rage use the power of the new systems and make online multiplayer

No terminator?

If memory serves, That was a title published by Virgin or some other third party publisher. I have the Sega CD version and it was pretty good. My guess that type of title wouldn't get released again because License has long expired plus Virgin games no longer exist as they have been absorbed into the Behemoth that is EA.

Where the fuck is shinobi 3 and pitfall !?!!?

Pitfall is an Activison title but they also redid it on the Sega CD. I think it was called Pitfall The Mayan Adventure. It was a sequel to the original Atari 2600 version.

I would like to have seen:
M.U.S.H.A
Alien Soldier
Thunder Force III and IV
Rolling Thunder 2
Castle of Illusion/Quackshot/World of Illusion
TMNT Hyperstone Heist

Man there's a gang of joints that should be included. But like Deuce said, that's the problem with compilations; can't please everyone.

Also, why can't they include Mega CD games? Its not liike the music cant be done on the new systems. We could get the very few goood games the system had, like Sonic CD, Final Fight, Robo Aleste, Road Avenger, Time Gal and Keio Flying Squadron.

vector man >>>>>

sell that shit as a stand-alone for like $1.99 I don’t want all them other games
