I just got that shit on my xbox elite (only had it for 2 weeks)
I turned it off and was about to do the temp towel trick..but when turned it on before i was going to wrap my first towel....BAM! The bitch works again...only thing i can see that caused the rings was having it plugged in to my pc to stream music and flicks and accidently nudging it...
Anybody else have their xbox come back to life after it died?

Yea..I'm on my 4th Xbox-360, my 2nd one got the rings of death then 10 min later worked again for about 4 days then the rings came back and it was a wrap....

Hey man just so you know, 4 red lights will pop up if your video cable is not plugged in completely so that's what it could have been. The red rings you're getting those confused with are the "3 Red Rings" and those pop up when it's a hardware error and I truly doubt it's going to come back after that. BTW most elites made Sept 14th and on feature the new falcon architecture that doesn't have the 3RRoD issue anymore.

This is a remake of the Ninja Gaiden that was on the original Xbox years ago......by the way Ninja Gaiden 2 is an xbox 360 exclusive.

my point is u got a very affordable Blue Ray player.......and u got 2 decent games out the entire exclusive list for that system. Ratchet and clank is a rental game anyway. And uncharted is cool but not a system seller.

There is a white sticker on the back of the box (by video plug) with the lot # and team on it. This is the info you will need in order to figure out if you have Falcon or not. This is what you should look for:

Lot #0734 or later (all SKUs)

Manufactured on or after 8/24/07

Team FDOU (Other teams may be Falcon as well, but none have been reported)

But getting a Falcon is not guaranteed even if everything matches the above information. Only some new consoles are Falcon, and no Falcon refurb consoles have been reported. There's another way you can check by looking in the vents and that's a sure fire way so I'll look it up for you when I get back to my office yo, hope this helps!
