so I finally discovered a friend who lives up to the stereotype that black women don't want to work out because they don't want to sweat out their hair ... I was kinda baffled that her hair was more important than her exercise... esp when she's always complaining about being fat...

Any ladies have any recommendations for nail products? I'm on a quest to have long, healthy nails .. but I can't determine if I have hard/brittle nails or soft/ peeling ... I don't think they are soft or hard .. but apparently those are the two formulas.. HELP!! lol

...I wear them. I was supposed to wear them all along, but lost my last pair a few years ago, and went without them until this past November. But, since I got these joints, it's been all good. Go find a fly pair and rock those shits.

I noticed whenever I washed dishes my nails didn't break as often, they grew longer and more even. I don't do the dishes as often as I used to and I can hit my hand on a wall and break a nail.
But something that I know I do that most people don't - I wash my dishes in running water. The key is that the water is continusouly getting all the dirt under the nails, down to the meat. I guess it's the motion of constantly moving your hands as opposed to just putting it in a loofah and taking a shower.
But back on topic: I never wash in a sink full of water. I keep hot water running or warm and I wash, rinse, rack. I have noticed that because of this if I have a big set of dishes I can wash longer before my hands turn pruney.
Please help me find blue shoes and colorful accessories and a bra that fit. I don't want to go to this shindig looking like a rejected skittle.

For bras, my favorite lines are Wacoal, Vanity Fair and Lunaire (or something like that.) Right now, there are plenty of sales on them, so go check it out.
For accessories, I like shopping for those in little boutiques...good luck on that, though

That's exactly how I was my dishes!! lol .. IDK .. i think my nails just hate me.. I'm trying some nail protein now, so we shall see ... I don't think I have the hard brittle nails, so I've switched to the formula for soft nails ... we'll see how this goes ..
Bras ..because I'm busty and cheap .. I buy a lot of bras from Lane Bryant's cacique line .. they are pretty cute .. unfortunately I can't fit any of the bottoms, so I opt for neutral tones that I can find panties else where to match ... no fancy flowered bras for me
and accessories .. I get almost all my cute accessories from stores like H&M and Forever 21 and i get booku props on my accessories daily ... esp the necklaces ... and they are cheap so I don't get mad when I lose them or they fade lol

It's official. I will be going back to Ottawa on the 31st. Done submitted my travel authorization.
Hopefully they put my team up in the Fairmount Hotel again, so I can just walk to the embassy. And I'll try and visit the National Gallery of Canada this time around.
