Over The Eight Years It Seems Like Miss Rice Has Not Recieve More Respect For Being The First Black Woman S.o.s. Just Wanna Know How The Sisters Feel About That.

What do you think? Do you rather she be on the news all the time, filled with contraversy and quagmire...? She is well respected...

Rice is sharp and she would not compromise her integrity joining in on Bush and Cheney's underhanded tactics. Unfortunately for Rice she's worked with Bush the past 8 years that in itself will prevent her from getting the acknowledgments she deserves.

Aside from the Katrina shopping spree she's been steady and has handled business in a professional manner.

funny because I was actually thinking about this today. Everybody is talking about how Obama did this great thing becoming the first black president yet I have never heard of anybody saying the same about Rice or even about Collen Powell which paved the way for Obama in one way of another. Iam a republican but and yes Bush did mess up this country with this War and with his other pics of his Administration but I can't help but give respect for Rice and Powell for their accomplishments.

Well respected by who exactly? George Herbert Walker Bush is also well respected ... :smh:

Her integrity was compromised the minute she accepted the Bush appointment, and it's been continually compromised and tarnished ever since. Period.

And yeah, that "minor" Katrina shopping spree blip. I mean, it wasn't like mad people her colr were dying and dead bodies in wheel chairs floating around in sewage infested flood water and thousands of folks were abandoned trapped for damn near a week and shit. I mean, come on ...

F.O.H. :hmm:

Typical republican reasoning ...

Rice gets NO props from me.

Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one. As for Rice how she is looked upon matters not, and surely she will manage without your "props." She had money when she entered as Secretary of State and she still has money. So its not likely she's looking to pursue public office again.

As a public figure I don't care for her. Never liked her but I can be objective and give her the respect she's do. As Secretary of State she did a great job.

Name one Bush cabinet official who went on record and admitted to making mistakes. Rice did, she admitted to making "tactical errors" in Iraq. While Rumsfeld acted like he had no clue what she was talking about. So yeah the integrity is there.

Also my view has nothing to do with "typical republican reasoning." I've been either a democrat or independent my entire life. Also I worked this past summer and fall seasons on Obama's voter registration drives. What sacrifice or effort did you make? As you stated FOH!

When a person does a good job it needs to be recognized regardless of their political base, gender or the color of their skin. She did the job now let's hope Hillary can do as well.
