Atleast to me a god is something, a being/entity. That knows all, sees all. A God doesnt have to have hell or heaven. Im just saying that I beleive that there is an entity of that nature. Shit you could say the internet is the closest thing to a God we know. You can find damn near any question on it.

But i dont understand how an ATHEIST can say there is no such thing as a God if he/she doesnt even know the square root of 585, or the capital of New Guinea. See where im getting with this?

Naw cable aint out. I had a patient in the hospital say he didnt lieve in god b/c he thought he was dying. Ironicaly he went into cardiac arrest today, we did CPR for about an hour way over the normal time. He survived if you can call it that he's brain dead. The funny thing is all those people who are praying for a miracle are gonna get one b/c he was an organ donor. And pretty much all of his vital organs are viable to be harvested. there gonna take his eyes, heart, skin, bone marrow, lungs, pancreas, kidneys, etc. Now all those parents who are praying for a miracle are getting one. How could anyone convince them there is no God when there daughter or son will live to see another day b/c of this mans death.

Just curious because a lot of people on this board claim to be atheist and I wonder if they're just as vocal in real life about it as they are here. there is no god b/c there's none as in back then, or now has ever been solid evidence to back it. yet history clearly dictates the use of "religion" as a means of control for the masss...this isnt about white slave owners, this goes back to kingdoms, tribes, whatever. the true purpose of religion is controlling/subjugating others. putting an imaginary figurehead as the being in charge just gives the power for those to usurp that control complete power because an imaginary being can't be questioned about his rules.
